Let me play devils advocate here for a minute. I have done a lot of traveling on airlines. Much of the time I would have a companion with me. Yet I paid for both tickets on my AMEX card. My company paid for my ticket out of company funds the other was paid for from another account for the flight on the same day and paid by seperate checks but the same amount.
Now as a cursery look if no one knew the circumstances it would appear that I was paid twice for the same ticket.
So lets say Paul was not traveling alone and you just looked at his re-embursements he was getting paid twice for the same ticket due to the amounts would be the same.
My question is did anyone check as to how many tickets were actually purchased one or two for the same amount.
Reading the articles it seems there is some axe grinding going on between parties.

I will be following this story. However, I do find it curious that there is so little to dig up on Paul that this kind of crap is what comes to light.

Santorum takes a corpse home, Gingrich leaves a wife with cancer and is censured by Congress, Obama and his overt duplicity, etc. Yet this is what they dig up on Paul.

If the story is true, it's reprehensible. But considering the other candidates' lying, theft, and fraud?

That's what I was thinking. Really, if this is all the dirt they can find on RP, the man is a saint among the rest of the congressional sinners.

The guy returns a portion of his Congressional budget each year and doesn't take the pension he is owed. If he was really looking for money, he'd likely start there.

He's been the only consistent politician in DC for the past 35 years. and his policies (or rather adherence to the Constitution) are the only chance that the country has to survive my lifetime; I'm 31.
