MisKitty I think one of my 5 cats must have come from that same litter watching the vidio. She is what I call mayhem after the Allstate commercial. Good vidio. All five cats and 4 dogs are what I call drag jobs. Rescue animals. The problem is that we agree to foster strays for the humain society till they find homes for them but for some reason they never leave. We get attached to easy.

Two of mine were former fosters that we kept. Those are called "foster failures," by the way. ;D

Anyone catch the Jeffrey Brown interview of Zbigniew Brzezinski on the PBS News Hour this evening?

Here is an excerpt from his book(America and the World: Conversations on the Future of American Foreign Policy), that the interview was based on.

He said: the American public is woefully uninformed about the implications of the new realities, kind of parochially ignorant.

The book was published in 2008. But, of course, that "the American public is woefully uninformed about the implications of the new realities, kind of parochially ignorant" is still true here in 2012. Of course, it was true in 1812 and the entire time in between those --12's.

Unfortunately I must say I agree with him. Our concern with foreign policy is limited to when are we going to leave Afghanistan. Beyond that we pay little attention in general.
