Well you're getting a bit ahead of yourself, aren't you? Unemployment is trending down, confidence is trending up. The Republican primary process is messier than expected, not a big deal, but not helpful to Romney. Foreign affairs between now and November is a crapshoot. At the moment it is trending mostly - but not entirely- positively. I'd say the RINO in the WH is far from a shoo in....... Prediction: We'll get revised unemployment numbers which will reveal unemployment actually trended higher in January.

I wouldn't look for Obama to lose the election. It's not going to be easy to beat him.
However, I would look for the GOP, and job-security conscious Democrats to repeal ObamaCare, and come up with some kind of reasonable tax reform in sufficient numbers to override a veto.

Compromise?!? !? COMPROMISE!??! I didn't just hear you talk about compromise did I? You don't compromise with the devil.

At the moment it is trending mostly - but not entirely- positively. I'd say the RINO in the WH is far from a shoo in....... Speaking of unemployment numbers, one Million, two hundred thousand people are no longer on the employment list, which makes it look like the employment rate is better than the actual number. Even the Secretary of Labor admitted we will not clear out the backlog of unemployed Americans at the current rate of new hires. I think it was called a "unacceptable number", but growing in the right direction. And now the President has issued a memo for people to donate to his Super Pac, rather then his re-election campaign. They are worried that Mitt will actually outpace his contributions, if he sticks to the letter of the law..... As far as the Republican primary process being messy, how soon one forgets four short years ago. Hillary and the President saw no limits to negative campaigning, and the President stole Michigan delegates from Hillary to garner the nomination process and it all came together in the end for the Democrats. Mitt is only garnering a thick skin now to deflect the blows from Obama's super pac campaign this fall. edited for spelling...

Even if Obama wins another term, he won't be able to complete his damage to this country with a republican majority in congress. So much for his socialism.

"The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that only five percent (5%) of Likely U.S. Voters rate the job Congress is doing as good or excellent. Seventy percent (70%) view Congress’ job performance as poor, just a point lower than the highest level ever measured." www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/mood_of_america/congressional_performanceLOL, the right leaning Rasmussen gives Congress an approval rating just about the margin of error. And let's not forget the payroll tax cut fiasco. If you learn one thing today, learn this: sub·stan·ti·ate (sb-stnsh-t) tr.v. sub·stan·ti·at·ed, sub·stan·ti·at·ing, sub·stan·ti·ates 1. To support with proof or evidence; verify: substantiate an accusation. See Synonyms at confirm. 2. a. To give material form to; embody. b. To make firm or solid. 3. To give substance to; make real or actual. www.thefreedictionary.com/substantiateNote that "substantiate" is a four syllable word, not a four letter word, so don't be afraid to do it. "stocks on Wall Street picked right up and surged throughout the day, sending the Dow to its best closing level since 2008." www.nytimes.com/2012/02/04/business/daily-stock-market-activity.html?_r=1Feb. 3, 2012 Look for more unfounded and wildly inaccurate opinions about the election until election day How'd things go last time they tried an appeal? And Republicans, especially ones in the House, should be looking for their own jobs. Or keep living in a bubble. Worry about having enough to overcome a filibuster first. Today's saying: "The wish is father to the thought." Lots of dysfunctional dads in this thread, folks.
