kitten AND nana- The next person who brings this fight up is banned for a week. I don't care who started it, or who feels "wronged". You are both acting childish. Use the ignore button if you don't like what the other says. If you choose not to then you have no basis for complaint.
As it is, this thread is about *thisclose* to being locked, due to all of the posts that have been reported from it. HALF of them are relating to the two of you. Enough is enough.

I get what you're saying. But Catholics like having institutions available that go with their beliefs. And once it becomes ok to attack Catholic instituitons, I find it very hard to believe that attacks on the churches and schools won't soon follow. Uh.. schools aren't churches either. Only actual churches are churches. All other church affiliated institutions, schools, charities, hospitals, adoptions agencies, etc., have to follow different rules.

"And in the states with gay marriage, Catholic adoption agencies have been shut down for refusing to adopt kids to gay couples." You are probably referring to (most recently) Catholic Charities in Illinois. Gay marriage is not legal in Illinois. It is in Massachusetts (or at least was at some point), and the Catholic adoption agencies were shut down there for the same reason as the ones in Illinois.
