Santorum is to religious for my liking.
I don't want a "President Newt" that's stupid name for a president, at least tell me it is short for something.
Mitt, again stupid name, and isn't he a Mormon, a Mormon in the White house, hath hell froze over.
Ron Paul, I like this little trolly dude, I thought he was great at the last debate though he looked like he was gonna puke when he first came out.
So what do you all think?

IF conservative Floridians wise up and support Newt, he'll win. If the conservative vote is split between Gingrich, Paul, and Santorum- then Romney wins even with two thirds or more of the voters voting against him.

I think you're spending too much time making up reasons not to vote for certain candidates rather than looking at legitimate reasons not to vote for them. Stupid sounding names? Religion? Really? No offense, but you asked. By the way....Gary Johnson is a great All American sounding name. Look him up...you may find plenty of legitimate reasons to vote for him too!

Romney. I heard on the radio though that he spent (or his PACS) spent 60 million on the campaign in Florida while Newt spent 4 million. Poor Romney - instead of campaigning against Obama he's going to be spending a ton of money campaigning against Newt. Newt has already said he's going to fight till the bitter end.

Better than two thirds of the GOP voters in Florida's primary election will be voting "Not Romney".

there is no way he spent that much. i would put it at about 1/4 of that. You are right. I was off by orders of magnitude. Romney and Restore Our Future spent a combined $6.28 million on Florida ads in the final week leading to the primary, according to figures provided to the Associated Press. Most of that spending -- $4 million -- comes from Restore Our Future. AP contrasts that with $700,000 spent in the same period by Gingrich and $1.5 million by Winning Our Future. content.usatoday.com/communities/onpolitics/post/2012/01/mitt-romney-ads-florida-newt-gingrich-super-pacs/1That actually amazes me. We are having a race for a house seat here and the candidates have spent at least 3 million.

I did notice a sharp increase in alcohol sales this month. I wonder how much is due to all these politicos running around the state.

Trying to get wind mitigation inspections scheduled has been a bear these last few weeks. Robo calls are going out, so people just don't answer their phones.

I was listening to a conservative radio station the other day and they said that Obama had stolen it from Newt - they referenced an ancient speech. It sounds stupid whoever it is coming from.

Good lord...WTF is wrong with people? A Latino group is suing the RNC for taking away half of our delegates for violating RNC rules. They say it hurts Hispanic republicans....Apparently all the other republicans will be just fine. This should be as completely unsuccessful as the DNC lawsuit in '08 for violating the same damned rules. Latino group in Hillsborough sues, saying GOP primary schedule hurts Hispanic Republicans
A Hillsborough County Latino group Monday sued Republican National Committee chairman Reince Priebus, contending that the GOP’s primary schedule unconstitutionally dilutes the electoral clout of Hispanic Republican voters.
Moreover, the lawsuit, filed in U.S. District Court in Tampa, asks a federal judge to stop the Republican Party from taking away half of Florida’s delegates for scheduling Tuesday’s presidential preference primary earlier than party rules allow.
A GOP spokesman said the party’s legal staff would have to look at the suit before he could comment on it.
The plaintiffs are the nonprofit Hillsborough Hispanic Coalition and Ralph A. Emmanuelli, 67, a Pinellas County Republican and the founder of UNO Federation Community Services, a nonprofit group that works to integrate Hispanic residents into the American mainstream, according to the lawsuit.
The complaint contends that the Republican Party’s primary schedule “results in severely limited influence of Hispanic voters in selecting nominees.” www.tampabay.com/blogs/the-buzz-florida-politics/content/latino-group-hillsborough-sues-saying-gop-primary-schedule-hurts-hispanic-republicansFor those that don't know, FL moved the Democrat primary up last year and the DNC slapped FL democrats on the weinie for violating the early primary rules. Same rules violated. Different party. Judge tossed the case when FL groups sued. Same thing will likely happen with this lawsuit against the RNC. TAMPA, FL -- For the 2nd time this year, a federal judge has thrown out a lawsuit filed by a Florida democrat delegate angry over party rules that have threatened to keep Florida Delegates from being seated at the upcoming Democratic Convention.
Once again US District Judge Richard A. Lazzara ruled Wednesday the DNC did not violate any laws in stripping Florida's delegates of their voting powers.

The general consensus here that Ron Paul is the flavor but Newt can beat Obama. If they say Newt was off his game at the recent debate then I want to see his game because my first thought off him was what an arrogant SOB.
