::looking embarrassed:: I use the souvenign travel cups that come back from the Bear's Games with who ever went to the game (usually the girls drink coffee/hot chocolate). They are great plastic travel cups and they are pretty much disposable if I need to discard one while traveling. They are re-used - but since it's someone I know I don't see how it's much different than when I have a glass of pop or wine or a cup o' coffee at their homes... I just wash 'em out really well - soap and hot water does the trick.
GO BEARS!!
I think Laterbloomer is frugal - as long as she's not forcing other people to use her re-used cups.

Thank you. Latebloomer.
Stomach still just a little jittery, do you think a small bowl of van. ice cream with "magic shell" on it would help? At least I would be frugal by not going to DQ??

I agree that reusing cups, salad dishes, or anything that washes and can be reused a number of times instead of a one-time use then off to the landfill is completely good for both the environment and your pocketbook. You're going green and saving green.
I have a big coffee travel cup my hubby bought me from 7-11. My coworkers laughed at it the first time they saw it, it's so big. But it fits nicely in my car's cupholder (very important), holds 2-4 cups of coffee (my whole days supply) keeps the coffee warm for about 2 hours, and if I for some reason wasn't able to brew the coffee at home, the refills on it are only a dollar (cool beans!).

I agree! I'm retired too and after years of biting my tongue in retail for over 30 yrs. it feels good to say what I think!
It's FRUGAL! I save & wash all plastic cups & use them for lots of things...vases, rooting cuttings, dipping water from a bucket, etc.! I also save Wendy's salad bowls...use them for plant saucers & even germinate seeds in the black bottoms then transfer them to pots. And before I retired they were great to carry my homemade salads/chef salads to work in!
