ARGH!
I wound up with a blister on my index finger from work. I broke the blister before realizing I had one, so grabbed a bandaid from my desk. It fell off, so wrapped some lab tape around it to keep it on until I could get to the store (none left at home).
Picked up a box of generic bandaids and I cannot keep the freaking bandaid on. I put a fresh one on after I got out of the shower and already it's falling off. I suspect I'll be going back for more lab tape. This is the third one that the tape has failed on since I got home last night.
Should have paid 0.50 more for the box of Band-Aids.

Put on the generic bandaid then wrap some lab tape around that.

The last box I bought was generic and they were crap. I'd say they suck, that that would mean they stick. I find that the cloth bandages stay on a lot better than the plasticy ones.

Only the named brand ones work for me. The cheap ones have always come right off for me too.

I can't buy generic bandaids. Did that once & something in the glue made my skin blister & peel off - Ack!!! BandAid is the only brand for me now :-)

Morning FF. I don't know where Gomez is, thought I saw Bob on the Friends thread. I get some from a dollar store around here called Fred's and those things never come off. I have issues off and on with any kind of band aids irritating my skin, doesn't matter with the brand. The Fred's ones have been used for over a year and the last time I needed one, I had to change band aids and the one I had on didn't irritate me but the one I switched to, from the same dang box, ticked my skin off.

I just use duct tape. Or super glue. I used to work in a factory and the darned band aids never stayed on. we had adhesive tape to protect our fingers when wiring- we would stuff gauze under it and wrap with that if we got cut. Wonder I didn't end up with blood poisoning.

If you had a coupon, and followed 19 websites that paired coupons and store specials, you could drive 17 miles and have a store pay you 9 cents to take the Band-aid brand off their shelf. You are clearly a failure.

Generics are just not acceptable in certain items.

I find that the cloth bandages stay on a lot better than the plasticy ones. the cloth ones can also deal with getting a little bit wet, the plastic usually peel off.

This one's a cloth one and it's now gone. That box will be going into the trash and I'll be getting name brand when I get out to the store.
