IMO- Perry stepped on his tool when he said if we don't educate criminal invaders we have no heart.

Everytime I look at the topics and see "Sarah Palin not running for president" I feel... uplifted somehow.

I see Perry has raised 17 million for his campaign. Romney at 15 million. A lot will ride on the next GOP debate and how they perform. I also agree with Beckel, that whoever wins the nomination, should try to pick up Marco Rubio as VP as he will gather the majority of the Hispanic vote. Newt always does quite well on debating and it's going to be a close and interesting race to the top.

Talk on the street is Sarah Palin got a better offer: the center 'square' on the new Holywood Squares game show.

ok, the field is set now. i don't expect any more late entries. we have Perry, Romney on the inside track and Paul and Cain on the outside track. anyone want to take a shot at ranking them? i think Romney is going to win this thing. Romney Perry Cain Paul Cain could possible challenge Romney, depending on how Romney holds up, but Romney has all the cards: the organization, the campaigning experience, and about 1/6 of the GOP voters that would ride down the river Styx with him. I think Paul scores higher than Cain. Paul had double digits in some states last time and he had a late start with basically no money until the money bombs. He will have had kept pretty much all of his supporters and will gain more this year. I am not sure Perry will do good at all. Romney will probably be on top like you are predicting though.

Ok, gotta ask, who here actually though Palin was going to run or had a chance at the nomination? She quit her job as Governor for crying out loud.

Rubio has said he is not running. interesting news about the $$. i still think Perry comes in second, after the crush on Cain wears off.

The thing I like about Cain is you ask him a question and he gives you a straight answer. You may not like the answer but you know where he stands. I an deal with that. Plus he has a business prospective which is ahead of all the others. really? what about Romney? wasn't he one of those liquidator dudes? or am i confusing him with Governer Goodhair?

That's what DF says as well. That he would be really good but that, because of that action, he will NEVER get elected or the nomination. I won't vote for him and it's because of that. That is the lowest thing any human can do to another. Even the twat that cheated with my husband did not deserve her husband divorcing her because she got ill. That makes him an even bigger louse than she was.

The repubs are already using Cain as the junk yard dog ... he is the one being designated to do the "hit" statements so Romney can remain above the fray

zib: I find it strange that when a man becomes ill, the woman will stand by him. I have seen it my friends circle. However, the man cannot cope with a woman's illness, which is not unconditional love. I find it a despicable trait as with the John Edwards debacle.

Herman Cain is not a fake, typical cooke-cutter politican. He is the real deal and it is reflective in how the people feel.

Herman Cain is a mathematician, he schooled Clinton on the effects of Hilliary care in '94.
I would believe his math over Obama's or Bohner's math any day of the week.

Cain took 4 companies that were only in survival mode or worse. and brought them all back.

Any thoughts on how CEO Cain will deal with two co-equal branches of government? I find that hilarious, as the "Sultan of Flimsy" leader is not having much success whatsoever. I believe Cain to be firm and fair and has the best advantage of "stopping the madness" of spending more of our tax dollars. I believe Herman Cain is logical and systematic, whereas we don't have that now.

Politics isnt about people or country any more, it's about keeping themselves in power.

It takes a certain kind of man to stick with a sick woman, not a lot out there. I know what I am in for with DF and am grateful he has the resources to pay for the help I will need in caring for him. He would stand by me as well but I cannot think of any other man I know that would do the same for his spouse or SO and that is SAD. I could be wrong but I just don't see it out there. But trust me, there are women who will leave as well. I know ONE but there are more, I am sure. I think women are just raised to be more nurturing and that society expects them to sacrifices. Men, he didn't even lose his political career for doing that. Unreal, a woman would have been tarred and feathered at the very least.

A ghost last night told me I was going to rule the world, seriously who is going to dispute that(who can dispute that?). That is why using faith as part of a logic explanation is just unintelligent. Then again using faith as a political strategic plan is brilliant with so many suckers out there. People that use faith as reasoning are just as blind to reality as a insane person who hear voices in their head. I like reading fantasy, but I don't vote for somebody because they believe in dragons and unicorns too.

I think your generalization of man is completely false. Your few examples of men out of the billions in this world are not great statistics.
