And to add a little flavor into the game, this has been going on on YM for over a year. I guess we were due for a good Doxie thread and this one's a doozy. An example......her vehicles are costing her more than her home. She desperately needs to get her vehicle expenses down to something managable. She traded in an expensive, paid off truck to buy a new one for her new DH because he didn't want to drive a truck that her ex-DH bought. Only problem with this is that her new DH just declared BK and couldn't buy his own vehicle. Her other vehicle is underwater by about $9K. So her idea is to sell the truck, use the excess to pay down her jeep and sell it, and drive Herbie. Herbie is a car she wants to be buried in and it was painted next to Robert Redford's car. Herbie apparently was in an accident and saved her life. Oh, and she'll get her folk's truck for her DH to drive. When the thread started slowing down, she popped up that her DH said if she sold his truck, he'd go out and buy another $30K truck. That was good for another 40 pages... <afraid to go to YM to find out how many pages I'll have to read this morning>

I think my favorite part of the current Doxie thread is qhere she asked why she cannot sell her credit card debt.

I feel sorry for Dark. He made a very bad choice and is living with it as best he can but he is miserable. I don't think I could be happy at another person's expense.

OMG, it is a blast, literally. Exploding targets. go on You tube some time and search it. They have one video on there of 12 lbs of tannerite vs a geo metro. There is nothing left of it. It is totally legal. you can buy it off the internet and now some of our wholesalers are starting to carry it.

Tannerite sounds fun--I'll have to let my BIL know about it (if he doesn't already). They invited DS to the Big Sandy Shoot again in October, but we can't do that one, he'd miss too much school--maybe the spring shoot will be during spring break again.

Apple, if it hadn't gotten you it wouldn't have made it to 100. Not sure if that's something to be proud of or sad about

Trying really, really hard to stay away. She seems so sincere -- she knows she has a problem with her finances. But she just doesn't get it. I will give her credit for creativity though. Some of the solutions she comes up with display real creative genius.

I am always a little bit more nervous around the person who posts every link to the supposed crazy person than the crazy person themself. Who has enough time for that? And if you do...what separates the crazy?

But be prepared to spend the next week pissed off at her for her excuses, her 'Doxie math', and yourself for getting sucked in and caring what happens.

she actually just posted a budget, using one of the attachments that was posted for her. I'll leave the number-crunching for those that know what they are doing besides that, I didn't end up sitting down with my own info yesterday. had a little insurance issue of my own that still is unresolved.

What floors me is that intelligent people get sucked into her nonsense. She posts like she's from another planet and JUST ENOUGH to get some posters started again. If the attention turns from her, she posts again, and get it refocused back onto her. After CM and Terri, you'd think posters would have more sense but apparently not.
