There have been many a paragraph posted on the Internet about Obama, but this may be the first time ever to see something so closely reflecting the man-on-the-street opinion of such a large segment of Americans. He is slowly - piece by painful piece - erecting a socialist dictatorship. We are not there - yet. But he is putting America on that dangerous path. He is undermining our constitutional system of checks and balances; subverting democratic procedures and the rule of law; presiding over a corrupt, gangster regime; and assaulting the very pillars of traditional capitalism. Like Venezuela’s leftist strongman, Hugo Chavez, Mr. Obama is bent on imposing a revolution from above - one that is polarizing America along racial, political and ideological lines. Mr. Obama is the most divisive president since Richard Nixon. His policies are Balkanizing the country. It’s time for him to go.
He has abused his office and violated his oath to uphold the Constitution. His health care overhaul was rammed through Congress. It was - and remains - opposed by a majority of the people. It could only be passed through bribery and political intimidation. The Louisiana Purchase, the Cornhusker Kickback, the $5 billion Medicaid set-aside for Florida Sen. Bill Nelson - taxpayer money was used as a virtual slush fund to buy swing votes. Moreover, the law is blatantly unconstitutional: The federal government does not have the right to coerce every citizen to purchase a good or service. This is not in the Constitution, and it represents an unprecedented expansion of power "It's time for him to go." How? Impeachment? That would only exacerbate the divisiveness, so not yet. Besides, there are still too many Congressional strap hangers to be ousted first. But every day is a day closer to the next election. www.washingtontimes.com/news/2010/jul/22/the-case-for-impeachment-142967590/

Regarding Hugo Chavez, when he took over Venezuela, that country had Latin America's largest middle class and was a thriving country.
After 11 years of socialist and dictatorship rule and wealth redistribution, Venezuela is in chaos. Shortages of every commodity abound, and most laughable of all, it is an energy rich nation that has energy shortages. It is a country mired in poverty.

SF you are absolutely correct. The country is fast headed to the same economic state as Cuba.

I find it very strange that his (oBAMA'S) idol is Abe Lincoln because ole Abe might have freed the slaves but he definitely did not support them staying in this country. Before he was made a hero by the African American people they should study some of his speeches. Not saying I support his views but everyone should read his quoted speeches. He was a white supremest from his own mouth. Goggle "Abe Lincoln and race" and read it for yourself. Not at all what I was taught about him in school. I hope this offends no one, that is not my intention.

Sadly, the people who create the most posts at message boards just happen to be the ones with nothing to say... just an endless litany of whining about the current president blaming him for all their chronic afflictions (some of which existed before Obama was born), and an infinite onslaught of defamatory and disinformational slurs and smears. Hey, I heard Obama [gasp] reads from a teleprompter sometimes! Ooooooo!!!!!
