In my humble opinion, strking workers are the number one suspect. Being from Chicago / Cook County, IL - I'm sure the union has kept its hands clean, but I've seen the attitudes and intent to do these sorts of things permeate union culture firsthand.
Should it turn out to be strking workers, it wouldn't be the first time. And like the strike itself, it'd be another example of an astonishingly counterproductive move on the part of union members, and leadership.
Can you even imagine the chutzpah it must take to go on strike right now?
“We have to get these people back to work,’’ Calvey said. “Nobody wants all of these people out in the street.’’

Sounds like a typical strike.

Verizon has obtained an injunction: A judge has had to order striking union thugs not to block entrances to Verizon stores. www.post-gazette.com/pg/11222/1166416-100.stmWell, shoot! They may as well not strike if they're prohibited from engaging in every activity striking workers typically engage in.
