I was going to mention it to steff, but she was already so scared. It's a test I tend to recommend for anyone having digestive difficulties. It's easy to test for, and pretty easy to treat. A round of a couple of antibiotics and a proton pump inhibitor will do the trick in the vast majority of cases.

the paper I got back from the dr said they took biopsies.... He said that he will set up the dye test appt and that he makes all his calls on Sunday to let me know what day next week..... He told my mom (who took me) that he thought it was funny that I told him he was cute.... lol I could end up having all this done on my bday.... today I did cancel the lunch with my mom for my bday because I just can't eat....on the upside.... I've lost 26 lbs.... LOL

" Nasty stuff if it nails you, though."
No kidding. The two different heavy-duty antibiotics were no picnic, either. H.Pylori crossed my mind, mmhmm, but I think the word "biopsy" would have sent steff over the edge. Sorry steff.

I trusted the doctors knew what they were doing. I didn't want to scare her any further. See steff? It wasn't nearly as bad as you thought it would be.

the nurse said she was putting the knock out stuff in the IV... I was watching my heart rate drop on the beep beep machine, thinking "oh shit" and next thing I know, when I opened my eyes I was looking at my mom sitting in a chair next to me....

Wasn't the worst part of it the stuff they sprayed in your throat?

Maybe the views of the children are different than their parents. I'm sure we don't all hold every single belief of our parents.

I wasn't even awake for the stuff they spray on my throat.... so I didn't have to deal with that.

True, but that entire family could be the poster for "Abstinence-only DOESN'T WORK". Sarah herself eloped, and her son was born 7 months later.

We often called propofol the "milk of human kindness", steff ... mostly because it looks like milk.

I'd think everyone who actually bothers to think would realize abstinence doesn't work in the vast majority of cases. Our biology helps see to that. People are going to be people and there's nothing that can be done to change that.

It's also kind of difficult to take anyone serious about abstinence ONLY while they hold their baby they had as a teen on their hip..... again, do as I say, not as I do....

I don't know about you but some of my opinions have changed through the years with the retrospect of my own experiences.
I don't follow Sarah's sexually history like some but her situation is at least plausible...not likely but plausible that she waited.
Some people who are pro-choice wouldn't choose an abortion themselves. Should people only side with views that they would do themselves in all cases?

Personally, I couldn't give a rat's behind if a child is born out of wedlock. What bothers me is the rank hypocrisy.

Because that isn't an endearing trait of just about every politician that both of our respective countries have? You just don't like the hypocrisy of this politician, politicians on the right or ALL politicians?
I just want to be clear that I understand which instances of rank hypocrisy actually bothers you.

What I'm saying is that you can't go around touting abstinence-only when the whole family can't keep it's pants on.

ABC News' Matt Jaffe (@matthewbjaffe) reports: Terry O’Neill, president of the National Organization for Women, disagrees with Rep. Michele Bachmann's policies, but O'Neill told ABC News today that she believes Newsweek's portrayal of Bachmann in this week's issue is "sexist." "I think it's sexist. She is a serious contender for the presidency of the United States," O'Neill said in a phone interview from Washington, DC. "I don't see a single serious male contender who has ever been portrayed on Newsweek or a similar type of magazine in that fashion." "It's the combination of they snap the photo of her with her eyes very wide - people call it 'crazy eyed' - plus that huge label they slap on her as the Queen of Rage," O'Neill continued. "Her policy positions are diametrically opposed to NOW's positions and I intend to defeat her. That's my job. But no male politician is treated this way. As much as I disagree with everything she stands for, she is a serious viable candidate for the United States presidency and there is no male viable candidate who has ever been treated this way." "What you're talking about is sending a message to good women everywhere who would be wonderful presidents that they better not to step out of line, that they better not try to be leaders in the political sphere because they will be shamed - and that's what this cover does."
