Well he is a year older. Happy Birthday Mr. President. My question are you a year wiser? I hope so.

Happy Birthday to our President of these United States
Thursday, President Obama turns 50. He'll start celebrating Wednesday at a DNC fundraiser in his home town of Chicago, where musical acts like OK Go and Herbie Hancock will play. But are the stresses of the presidency taking years off his life? Professor Howard Friedman of UC Riverside co-authored a book called "The Longevity Project" which explores the factors leading to a long life. He shared some tips for the president, and others who are getting older.

"I'm betting one of the tips was "Don't use socialized Medicine". Don't be silly. We have socialized medicine, and longer life spans.

Sorry, P.I. My bad. With quite a few photoshopped pics having been removed and the reason for removal noted, I thought you would know they're not allowed here. Now you do.

So, the President turned fifty. That means we better re-elect him in 2011, otherwise the security detail assigned to him will have to be about 21 years old, as they will grow old and retire before President Obama succombs to old age. I can only imagine what the security tab will be for him, his wife and kids for 35 years or so. Cheaper to leave him in office for four more years.

Hey Virgil... Excuse me for asking another dumb question, but is your Obama Photo an approved photo shopped picture or not??? My photo "Obama turns 50. Returns to Chicago to celebrate and raise money". was deleted with a warning for violating the CofC I guess??? But yours seems to be OK from the Montreal Gazette....I think mine was in the Washington Times...so maybe that explains it..

Probably because you come to the US when you need real medical care. Or, at least your politicians come to this country when something major happens to them. F*** the general population, I'm going to get good healthcare in America. Gotta love when your politicians stand behind their words with their actions.

I'm taking this off the cuff, PI, but the differences would boil down to:
1. #351 is an editorial cartoon in a major newspaper, not a photoshopped image. The latter is forbidden by the CoC while the former is not.
2. There is no possibility that a reasonable person would construe the cartoon in #351 as being an actual event, whereas the opposite is generally true for a photoshop job.
3. #351 is an original, integral work with obvious attribution. Photoshopped jobs, in the unlikely event that they don't violate point 2, are at best unattributed mash-ups of copyrighted material that subvert the meaning of their constituent original works.

How many politicians? Two? Yeah, that will really skew the charts showing we live longer.
