it is coming from the pulpit, of course. this is why i have said repeatedly that a deal is going to happen. the bluster is just there to raise the stakes. the more they bluster, the more Obama will concede to make the deal happen. it is smart politics. the Democrats could learn a lot from it, if they were the type to take lessons.

IMO, it is a circus show to apease the tea party and Norquist and his devoted flock. The move could backfire on them, as a lot of people knowing any signs of a recovery would be bad for republicans, might see it as an attempt to throw a monky wrench into the economy. Others are getting tired of the game playing party before country theatrics.

Others are getting tired of the game playing party before country theatrics. ugo- the GOP has got the Democrats to agree to cut $3 in spending for every $1 in tax increases. if they had any sense, they would jump at it. but instead, they are prepared to imperil the republic for their "no taxes" pledge. it would be nice if we could talk about this like adults, wouldn't it?
