We've probably spent around $400 including food, beer, fireworks and supplies to build two picnic tables. At least we'll be able to use the tables next year!

Nothing yet, but we'll probably bring a growler from the local micro brewery to a BBQ tomorrow afternoon. So that will be ~$25. Tolls/gas to get to/from the party will be ~$18.

I worked the 3 day weekend, and dh and baby stayed home. So in the end after holiday pay, I'd say I made an extra $150 after taxes.

We went out to lunch and a movie $24. Last night I spent $1 on glow bracelets for my grandson to play with while waiting for the fireworks.

Too much!! (For our budget, anyway.) But, we're having company, & hate to be stingy when we're entertaining (we don't have people over often). The baby back ribs alone were over $10 at our favorite butcher shop.

$7.50. My DH doesn't eat bbq so I brought some home (with onion rings) from a local restaurant.
They were too stingy with the sauce, though. Take-out bbq may not be in my future again. Lol.

I came home yesterday so the weekend was Friday to Sunday. I just took watermelons, chips and soda so spend around $20 plus gas to drive my truck about 70 miles. I didn't spend any money today. Later I will cook some burger not sure what recipe. May open some baked beans or something and leftover watermelon.

hamburgers from freezer and beans from pantry so nothing there I did buy hamburger buns (59 cents) and told DS I would buy $50 worth of fireworks. He picked out $42 worth and was satisfied so I came in under budget

$10.00 I got a great fireworks show on post for free, a free game of bowling, a couple of free glasses of beer from the keg tapping, and the 10.00 I spend on sangria, a brat, a giant pretzel, and some fries. This was for 8 hours of entertainment. A friends mom bought me a beer and a refill on my sangria

For the 4th we spent about $60, we hosted a cookout but everyone brought a dish, so that cut down on the costs. I ended up trying some great new recipes!

Other than chipping in $60 for fireworks, we spent no more than we spend on any other given weekend.

About $25 in food that would not have bought normally or so. My in-laws came over on the 3rd and they brought some of the food and all of the fireworks. Of course my BIL tried to burn our house down by not paying attention to the direction the wind was blowing.... but it all worked out ok. He's still invited back. ;D We didn't do anything yesterday which was good because i had to be at work at 6 this morning.

$300.00 for fireworks alone. Another $150 or so for food to feed 11 of DH's family that decended on us for our annual party. Plus paper plates, forks, napkins, etc. for the other 50 that showed up for the potluck.

Oh yeah, $5 donation at the fireworks, and DH spent $16 on crap for the kids. Light up swords. Yes, we needed those.

You know, Tax, you could have bought the generic soda for $.50, generic ice cream for $1.50, and made your own pie from your stockpile of items gotten for free as a result of savvy couponing, and saved yourself even more!

LOL - i know, but DW wanted to "go all out" typical woman, dragging our finances down!! I even showed her my excel chart that showed that in 40 years at 11% return our $10 would be over $250,000!! So really, we had a quarter-million dollar party...I hope they all enjoyed it!! :-)

We spent about $2000. We had some purchases that we were delaying until the holiday sales. Unfortunately my credit card issuer became alarmed halfway through my spending binge and cut me off.
