DH and I are both 33, and he got quoted $450 and I got quoted $380 per year. each covered for half a million 30-yr policy. Is this good or should we keep looking? we are both healthy with good family history

That sounds pretty good. We're 30/29, both got 25 year/500k. Mine was 440 because of family history, his was 325 which was the best rate for a 29 y/o male. We just got these policies a few weeks ago

That sounds pretty similar to DH and I. We got our policies about three years ago at ages 30/32. My is $335 and DH's is $410, both for $500k 30-yr terms.
ETA: We have our policies through different carriers in order to get the best rate. (Several companies really didn't like the fact that my younger brother had an instance of skin cancer.)

That's about mine--$700 a year for a million (have a disabled child), with an A+ company. Actually, it was sold from Traveler's to Metlife, I haven't looked up their rating.
I always say I don't know my family history, because I don't.
