"An exit by Geithner would complete the turnover in Obama’s original economic team, with Council of Economic Advisers Chairman Austan Goolsbee scheduled to leave in early August to return to the University of Chicago. " www.bloomberg.com/news/2011-06-30/geithner-said-to-weigh-leaving-treasury-after-debt-ceiling-debate-resolved.htmlWhy? Because they all know how bad economy is going to get. The employment stagnant at best, housing prices still falling, and the fed will eventually have to stop easing( or do they muhahahah). Bush's administration stayed in to act like they did something when they new it was going to get worse. Obama's administration doesn't want to have the stress or blame so they are leaving. Different wrapping, same damn fruit cake.

Yep. One by one. They do their crap, it fails, then they take their money and run.

interesting read "QE 2 is over, Now What? finance.yahoo.com/blogs/breakout/qe2-over-now-154735506.html "too biog to fail" is now an adorable anachronism. Neither the Fed nor the banks can fail alone at this point, obviating the idea the Fed will do anything it can to save banks as failing to do so would be suicidal. Like the gentlemen on the Titanic or the Billy Joel song, failure of the system, Treasury or the Federal Reserve means "we all go down together." We are in uncharted territory. Weve never seen anything like this before. said Ely, Sure we have. Ask the Romans, the Egyptians, Mayans, Aztecs about the inevitability of cultural failure. Better yet take 3 seconds to run a search on U>S> CENTRAL BANKS. Every attempt has failed or been dissolved every generation on average, in the 235 years since the birthday we will be celebrating on Monday. So why ,you ask might the economic team be leaving? Why might Geitner want to go?
