Republican front runner, Michelle Bachmann isn't gonna take the 'flake' question lightly...
Good for her and she should have Chris Wallace come on Fox and issue an apology because he obviously hurt this lady...I saw the video clip and there was no need for that question and you could tell Ms Bachmann was hurt by it and it took her back...
We have seen so much of this crap lately maybe this will be a turning point to end some of these vile and hurtfully comments being hurled at Ms Bachmann...

What kind of question is that, "are you a flake?" JFC, let's get some real questions.

I wouldn't accept his apology either. It was a stupid question.

I wouldn't accept his apology either. It was a stupid question. I thought the issues he brought up were legitimate points of discussion, but he went beyond some of the ridiculous claims she made, and instances where she said something that was later proven wrong and just took an outright swipe at her. And I don't think "poorly worded" cuts it. It was conduct unbecoming a "fair and balanced" journalist.

I didn't see the interview, but some of her viewpoints deserve further discussion and questioning. However, calling her a flake doesn't provide the opportunity to get her to discuss her beliefs and let the general public decide for themselves if she's a flake.

I find it curious that there is a constant attempt to paint female candidates as "flakes" or whatever. And, seems very unprofessional. That too.

But yet Obama and libs are supposed to understand her statements are just impassioned rhetoric----"Republican presidential candidate Michele Bachmann, fresh off of being informed people think she’s flaky, also took time to speak with Bob Schieffer. Schieffer was most interested in learning whether Bachmann regretted some of her strongest rhetoric against President Obama from the past, and Bachmann admitted “there’s a lot of things I wish I had said differently.”
Bachmann informed Schieffer that despite some past comments, “I don’t question the President’s patriotism at all.” Instead she was eager to shift her criticism to Obama’s record and his economic policies:" >>> ......... You call libs and the president antiAmerican, but don't question their patriotism.....

What a stupid way to ask the question. What kind of answer was he looking for? He prefaced the question with examples. I think it's a valid question. He is a tough and often insulting interviewer. The fact is Bachmann DOES have an image problem. It seems to me she has decided to remake her image in a dignified way rather than going backward and doing clean-up of past gaffes. Personally I think that's smart. I am beginning to see her in a new way. (Still have concerns about flakey things from past though.)
See how Gingrich handled Chris' tough questions.

Well it was a stupid question but now that she has officially announced her candidacy it is going to get a lot worse. She must develop a Rhino skin so it does not throw her off track.
