Commentator- You could make an argument either way about whether Ameiko's infamous post violates the CoC. Since it is an older post now, I am not going to delete it now. However this does NOT give you license to make threats on this board. I have not seen the homophobic post, I don't know whether it is a violation without seeing it. Maybe YOU can make an argument either way. To me there is no such ambigity. To the best of my recollection I have made no threats, just statements of position. You can call this next statement a threat if you wish but I consider it a mere statement of the way things are as far as my personal policy goes. If a moderator posts a personal attack directed at me, I will respond in kind in the same forum. If you don't like that, get your fellow mods under control. As for the post with the implied advocacy of burning homosexuals to death, mmhmm (sp?) has already decided that it does not violate the COC. On the other hand, I am quite certain that a statement supporting the early Salem, MA practice of burning witches at the stake would be deleted as moderator bashing.

That's cute commentator, but my skin is quite a bit thicker than that. As to other Mods, I am not responsible for them or their behavior. In fact I don't really know what you are talking about there. However if you choose to attack anyone, moderator or not, you may face consequences regarding your posting privilages. Dem, I dont care about your skin. As for other mods, you are quite willing to intervene in an exchange of insults between a moderator and an ordinary user to threaten the ordinary user with banning. Isn't there some sort of repeat rule? You've threatened me twice for expressing my opinion. When are you going to actually pull the trigger?

I will intervene when a mod is being attacked yes, especially when said mod is not online to protect him or herself. I do not know of an incident where such an attack was in reaction to the mod first insulting or attacking the poster, as you claim happened to you. I do try to avoid banning people. If you want to push it, I certainly will do it however. In any event, I am through with this discussion. I just wanted to give you a heads up not to push it, that's all. Well, you have an incredibly short memory because you threatened me for my response to an insulting personal attack by Rovo. Don't push it? Push what? A suggestion that ordinary users be treated fairly? That the COC be enforced? You don't like being pushed? Do the job you freely volunteered to do.

However this does NOT give you license to make threats on this board. Either provide an example of my threatening anyone in any manner on these boards or stop dishonestly implying that I have made threats.

HOw is the treatment of the violently mentally ill considered part of the government free lunch? This is a public safety issue. If its a public safety issue then why are these mentally ill people not locked up in a room they can't get out of? Why do we allow the dangerous people out into society to reak havoc at a moments notice? Let me guess: it's inhumane! We have to coddle the mentally ill by putting everyone else in danger. Yeah, real humane
