That sort of thing used to happen in the U.S. I sincerely doubt it still does.

They don't sterilize in AZ. Illegals pump them out at regular intervals in a way to always keep them with income... gotta have one under 6 to qualify... do it right and you can keep it going until your oldest daughter starts having babies at 14 then you get old and fat from not moving for 20-30 years and qualify for help because you are sick.. booflippinghoo.

I say the serial rapists should be neutered. After the second one cut it off, let them sit to pee. I also say that women who walk the streets get pregnant and live on crack should be sterilized after the baby is born. In public hospitals they come in have the baby, leave and are back on the street doing it again over and over. It can cost the public as much as a half million dollars in keeping the baby alive and that is just for starters. If you have never seen a tiny crack baby fight to live I can tell you it will tear your heart out. A tiny piece of meat quivering all over with needles and instruments all around giving it a chance to live. A sad tale oft repeated.

I'm pregnant Again. Number 18 I was in the 7 11 buying me another Colt 45 with my food stamps (the Indian clerk on 2nd shift accepts food stamps for everything!) when I passed by the home pregnancy tests. I hadn't been able to keep down my Lobster tails for the past couple checks now, so that set off warning bells. Sure enough, I shoved that test down my pants, pissed on the stick at the Citgo on 49th, and Yep it was positive. You do understand what this means don't you? $10.02 more a month! I think I shall name this one Mealticket. Ain't he/she/it adorable?! Just like Daddy, pulling on that J. Not sure if I'll mention that to my new boyfriend, he somehow got the notion this baby's his, LMFAO! If I play my cards right I'll be able to collect child support from 2 idiots. Mental Note: Ask for last names. thewelfarequeen.blogspot.com/2008/04/im-pregnant-again.html

Well the dems (srats) are pro choice. I don't know that anybody ever really made it clear "who's" choice it was.

The Supreme Court said in Skinner v. Oklahoma that mandatory sterilization laws are unconstitutional Maybe it's time it was overturned. Really? Are you serious? Why?

Because I've held too many suffering drug babies and seen too many abused children and it makes me sick, that's why. Hmm. Interesting. Do you mind If I ask you what your profession is?

Cereb: yes I have, more than one. Times the birth mother never comes back to claim the child. It becomes the ward of the state. The mother is on the street repeating the process.

I knew a meth baby a long time ago. He cried all the time, and sweated and shivered a lot as a newborn for a short while. My friend took him in as a foster and then adopted him. Her husband did rural contract mental health work and also worked with CPS. They adopted many drug babies. They always had 10 kids, and got more whenever one grew up. Some of the kids were okay, some were not. At one point they got 2 tiny kids from a drug Mom, who had already lost 6 to CPS before those 2. She was crazy as hell, and finally ended up in the state hospital, after having 1 MORE drug baby after the 2 my friends took in. Something should be done about people like that, but I have no idea what.

America has an ugly history of so-called "Eugenics." In fact, the Nazis credited Americans with giving them some of their best ideas. Margaret Sanger, the mother of Planned Parenthood, strongly believed in Eugenics. She repackaged these beliefs are women's choice for it to be more paltable.

Instead of mandatory, I think monetary incentives should be offered for voluntary sterilization. One of my clients has had five children. She has openly stated she only wants a child for the extra benefit money. She's an incompetent parent and the children keep being taken away from her, so she just pops out another.

I'm okay with paying them off to stop having babies.. cash after surgery, not before. I'm also okay with putting limits on how many kids welfare Moms can receive money for if they refuse birth control measures. I have no idea if any of that is legal.

Man this IS a tough question. Have a friend in law enforcement all her life. She is a Christian and would like to be pro-life but with the things she has seen she just can't help but think many babies are better off dead. Horrible quandary. Add to all this the fact that 5 children are killed each day by parents or 'friends' of a parent. Parents present the biggest danger to children in this country.

Yep. A lot of kids die in foster care, too, or while under CPS watch. We had 3 little kids murdered 2 years ago in separate incidents who were under CPS watch. Parents did it. Sometimes CPS rounds up kids not in danger, sometimes they leave kids in terrible danger. I know they are understaffed and overworked, huge case loads, but it often seems to get political. They leave kids with drug addicts but round up kids like those polygamist's kids--- who were all returned because they were not being harmed. Tough on kids these days. A lot of this is liberal ideology..

Mandatory steriziliation is unconstitutional. However, if you commit a crime like abuse or neglect or criminal endangerment, or rape, then i'm fine with sentencing being extremely long and sterilization being offered up as a volluntary act to secure early parole/release...
I'm also ok with a 'pay for tubal' program... in which we do something like offer up 5K for people to get sterilized... not sure of the exact peramenter to set, but it would save in the long run..

Personally, I would like to see a hormonal implant similar to a "norplant" become available again. Cheap, effective and reversible. Tubal ligation isn't cheap, and it's mostly permanent. At least, it's meant to be.

Why would you want to pay someone to have a procedure that was reversible? They'd just have it reversed and get paid again.... And the point is to stop them from having more children they can't afford... correct? ...
Is a tubal ligation as expensive as supporting a new child with welfare, food stamps, early intervention, education, etc?

Ifn they are so unstable they have to be paid to get fixed they probably will never have the money to pay to get it reversed. And if they do--- maybe at that point they are stable enough to have kids. My daughter got a 5 year IUD after she had her baby, but I suppose it is illegal to make welfare Moms do that. This is the problem. People that are likely to raise successful kids are limiting the # of kids they have because they can't afford more, while people that don't have to worry about supporting their kids are pumping out new welfare babies every couple of years.

...what does the US constitution say about imminent domain and property rights (eg mineral rights)? ...the govt. that's big enough to give you everything, can also take everything, right?

Interesting, been there... but welfare people are a protected class in the USA. Protection through enslavement, what a concept..

I noticed when i was doing tons of welfare runs in my cab that welfare people are quick to take ALL vaccines, etc, so it may be a fertile testing ground for pharma...
