Accused sexual assailant of a massage therapist, and man some have referred to as 'Pope Al Gore the Pompous, leader of the neopagan church of the Earth' for his firebrand speaches that sound like sermons about a coming man-made environmental apocalypse is preaching an old 'sermon' on 'overpopulation'. His 'solution' to this non-issue? Birth panels.

I brought this subject up on Lakhota's thread about Newt Gingrich being the stupidest person. My argument was Al Gore had him beat, if you could actually consider him educated, based on this newest edict from Al.

I brought this subject up on Lakhota's thread about Newt Gingrich being the stupidest person. My argument was Al Gore had him beat, if you could actually consider him educated, based on this newest edict from Al. I always just sort of assumed he had a law degree-- don't they all? I remember it being of some note that Bush was one of the rare Presidents without a law degree- an MBA if I recall. Performed like an MBA, too. I never understood the fascination with an MBA? But I digress... Al Gore DID flunk out of divinity school. He was gonna be a preacher, but decided to go into a closely related profession instead, and now-- he's found religion again, it seems.

Pope Al Gore the Pompous, leader of the neopagan church of the Earth Since Gore has not started an actual church, nor be sworn n as a minister, imam, priest or Pope, please edit this out. Thank you. Cme1201 - Moderator P&M I will edit it appropriately.

Cme1201 - Moderator P&M I will edit it appropriately. Al Gore is not a public politician. It is not like he is a Congressman or President. I am not sure if the Democrats even accept him as an actual member of their party any more...... He is not, to the best of my knowledge a member of this board. How is this a problem when describing Al Gore. It was rather articulate and fair, imo.

Except for Mormons I know that take care of their own children, who is even having lots of kids any more?? Most people aren't, because they can't afford to have a house full of kids these days. The ones that ARE are the protected and coddled welfare class people, like illegals. Hell, according to the new ICE memo on another thread (Obama's back door amnesty Dream Act), we have just given them ADDED incentive to have more babies-- won't be deported if they are pregnant or breastfeeding.. Cradle > free college or more babies > old and sick > death entitlements for the chosen. Think nutjob Gore will address that issue?? I doubt it..

"Most people aren't, because they can't afford to have a house full of kids these days. The ones that ARE are the protected and coddled welfare class people, like illegals." It seams today that the most protected class is the super rich one - we support and coddle them with more than the poor and wretched of the world combined.

Bubbs got a point there. Just ask yourself, would you rather be rich or would you rather be on welfare?

" principle ways of doing that is to empower and educate girls and women,' Gore said.
"'You have to have ubiquitous availability of fertility management so women can choose how many children to have, the spacing of the children."
Isn't he referring to a form of sex education, possible offering birth control..for those who are basically ignorant of it??

Rich -sure - Rich in spirit and humor - and that money thing I don't mind. Rich in money and nothing else - I'd choose the road over welfare. I don't think most choose welfare - it's just that pesky business of survival thing.

Isn't fertility management what has given us such wonderful newsworthy people as The Octomom?

What does the picture in the OP have to do with the thread subject of women and fertility management? Enquiring minds want to know.

I think it is totally appropriate. Gore is only worthy of coverage in trash like that. And we all know by now sometimes those rags nail news first when no one else will go near it..

Bubbs got a point there. Just ask yourself, would you rather be rich or would you rather be on welfare? The answer is easy- but there are two problems with it: 1. It interferes with the Democrat political strategy of convincing millions of people they're never going to be rich, so they might as well be on welfare. And of course the longer the Democrats control economic policy, the more of a self-fulfilling prophecy that becomes. 2. If enough people are welfare, no one is going to be rich-- so there's really no "choice". We can have an opportunity society that respects private property, or we can have a big government kleptocracy where everyone is poor except for a handful who are adept at stealing from, and enslaving others.

Read the first post a draw your line to connect the dots - The train was never on the tracks I'm confused. Was the train on the dots? Who connected the tracks? What kind of train was it? A post train? If it left Chicago at 1:23 pm Central Time for San Francisco at 45 mph, and another train left New Orleans for Denver at noon, would they crash?

Women having birth control is fascism now....OP worthy of the Enquirer. If brother Jeb and the worst Supreme Court ever hadn't stolen the 2000 election, NONE of the Bush disaster would have happened. Take a policy wonk like Clinton, Gore, and Obama over bought off morons like Booosh and Raygun EVERY TIME. I guess greedy pubs and Foxbots are smarter than science, economists, and every other party in the modern world now. Told ya so, always have and always will. The Enquirer now- LOL!! ;D

Ahhh, so...thanks Bilons I forgot, I am on "Home to the MSN Money Board refugees Where drama and emotions are the order of the day, not calm discussion of thoughts expressed, especially if thoughts expressed are from the current POTUS or a former leading politico of his party, how silly and stupid of me, thanks for the heads up, it's appreciated. ;D
