Yeah, like the time , , what was it, 141?, , Clintonites "couldn't remember" what went on during the white water investigations, or how the "missing" Hillary billing records ended up on a spare table in the White House residence?
Guess what, that was ALL Pub BS, and NOTHING ACTUALLY HAPPENED, except a 5 year witch hunt caught the pres in a gentleman's lie about a BJ. -Garbage Political IDIOCY. Like today.

I think the mods should amend the CoC to allow issuance of a ban "just because. " They did that exact thing on 17 June check it out the CoC was last updated on May 28, P.I. do you have an alternative CoC that you're following? I suggest you reacquaint yourself with the correct one: notmsnmoney.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=coc&action=display&thread=322-chiver78/Moderator carry on.

How did we go from a Reagan joke to whether or not I should be banned again for "just because"... BTW tring to beat the "just because" rule after you are banned is NOT easy...so you have to deal with that one...IMHO Even with Mr Burns help banned for "just because" is impossible to defend against and he appealed it all the way to the Top.. BTW where is Mr Burns??? Did he get banned again when I wasn't watching oooooooooooout for him? Hey!!!

No but it can't hurt Archie... Well if all you are looking for is someone who can mouth-of infront of a camera while reading prepared lines, we have that in the White House at the moment. Yes, at the moment and since teleprompters were around. I'm just curious as to why Obama can't use a teleprompter or have recess appointments when other Presidents all have done those things. Anyone want to take a shot at this? Anyone got an answer other than hypocrisy?

Anyone got an answer other than hypocrisy?
Reagan had style, class and an excellent delivery....he worked hard as the Spokesperson for General Electric to perfect that skill.... I was in the audience a few times when he made a speech out here in CA when he ran for governor and was very impressed with his delivery of a good joke.. Not sure he had a TelePrompTer back then or not....
And I have no idea what your "hypocrisy" thing is all about except maybe just superfluous fluff again by you

Anyone who dislikes anything about any of Obama's policies or behaviors does so because he is a black man, and since 51% of the country currently disapproves of Obama's job as president, all of them are racists. Didn't you know that?

Mkitty were you just threatened by Reagan because he was such an intelligent, conservative, white, handsome male??? Is that why you have to put him down??

Didn't you know that?
I watched Obama a few times in his town hall meeting recently and he spoke without his TelePrompTer or any notes...he was not very good. I took my kids to the John F. Kennedy Library in Dorchester MA and watched several videos of his press conferences. They were awesome and he never had a TelePrompTer or any notes....he just went person to person and answered all of the questions tossed at him in only a way that Kennedy could with charm and class... And Obama is NOT in Kennedy's league IMHO

All I stated since your reading comprehension seems to a bit off, was that if all someone is looking for is an orator as president, we have one in office at the moment.

It makes them look like nothing more than podium jockies who spend all day quaffing their hair and practicing looking in the mirror, rather than on anything meaningful. sorry archie.. i just went back and saw this.. and had to laugh.. because i believe you mean "coiffe" quaff /kwäf/ Verb: Drink (something, esp. an alcoholic drink) heartily coiffe [kwahf]- Verb: arrange attractively; "dress my hair for the wedding"

John F. Kennedy was the best presidential orator in my lifetime....and if you get a chance in Boston MA I suggest you visit his library next to my high school....or take your family it is worthwhile and very informative
We had to read and study all of John F. Kennedy and Bobby Kennedy's speeches in our Rhetoric Classes at BC...But they were not as good as James Michael Curley the Mayor of Boston probably one of our nation's greatest political orators IMHO

I originally started with quoffing. I would never have come up with Coiffe. Who the heck decided that spelling??!

Yup, Raygun was a great actor, after he stopped making movies, and a great front man, PR man. , and a total disaster for the country- his legacy was Booosh, and no, he didn't bring down the USSR, Gorby did- we're lucky he din't stop him...

Gallup poll A Gallup poll, taken on November 19-21, 2010, asked Americans to say, based on what they know or remember about the nine most recent former presidents, whether they approve or disapprove of how each handled his job in office.[27] 1.John F. Kennedy (85% approval/10% disapproval) 2.Ronald Reagan (74% approval/24% disapproval) 3.Bill Clinton (69% approval/30% disapproval) 4.George H. W. Bush (64% approval/34% disapproval) 5.Gerald Ford (61% approval/26% disapproval) 6.Jimmy Carter (52% approval/42% disapproval) 7.Lyndon B. Johnson (49% approval/36% disapproval) 8.George W. Bush (47% approval/51% disapproval) 9.Richard Nixon (29% approval/65% disapproval)
