How very ironic it is that Anthony Weiner wrote the health control legislation that will ruin two major industries and millions of peoples lives if it is not repealed. This is the sort of man who is in Washington deciding how we will live our lives. A man who is more interested in his private parts than in discussing politics with people who decide to follow him on Twitter. This is the kind of twisted and perverted man who makes laws we must live by. It's past time to clean up that den of perverts and thieves. They are not superior to us. They do not represent our interests. The bad ones must go. See the video at: michellemalkin.com/2010/09/17/at-last-a-democrat-takes-ownership-of-the-health-care-bill/ Edit: I changed the title of this thread because in looking for more info about Weiner and the health care bill I came across this interesting Jon Stewart interview.

"I wish Rep. Weiner and his lovely wife well. Obviously, it's been a tough incident for him, but I'm confident that they'll refocus and he'll refocus, and they'll end up being able to bounce back."
I hope Weiner goes nowhere. I hope his name stays fresh in the minds of voters. I hope Weiner is tied inextricably to the health care legislation he claims to be one with. It is very fitting.

Unlike the mess he authored. Healthy body perhaps. Sicko though.

Certainly an immature thing to do. The lying is the real problem.

Stewart greets guest Anthony Weiner who he knew in the 1980's. They used to go to the beach together. Stewart says he has photos that could destroy Weiner's career, yuk yuk. Weiner responds that he has stuff too, yuk yuk. . . .
They go on to discuss Weiner's role in health care. Video www.thedailyshow.com/watch/thu-february-4-2010/anthony-weiner
They end interview with more jokes about wearing no pants.

Washington - On Monday night’s Daily Show with Jon Stewart, the host, a former roommate of the congressman, confessed that Weinergate and the entire episode involving pictures of his friend Rep. Anthony Weiner of NY, was “killing” him. Jon Stewart was clearly not sure how to react to his friend’s confession that he had indeed himself been responsible for sending sexually suggestive photos of himself via Twitter. “I don’t know what to do anymore! It’s killing me, “he said on last night’s “Daily Show”, which was taped in New York after the congressman had already given his press conference earlier in the day admitting to the indiscretions after having denied them for a week. I must admit, I am also deeply saddened by this story as it too is killing me. No I didn’t room with Anthony Weiner in a summer house in Delaware in the 1980s as did Stewart.

Did the title of this change? I changed it because the focus changed. I was looking for information about Weiner and the health care bill and found this whole weird Jon Stewart connection. They kidded each other last year on The Daily Show about being able to destroy each others careers with photographs. Then more and more interesting stuff. They were room mates in the 1980's. They went to the beach together. They joked about wearing no pants. Weiner fantasized with a Facebook sext pal about having sex while watching Jon Stewart's The Daily Show. Stewart moaned "do you want me to cut my wrists again?" The night late night comedians roasted Weiner, Stewart had cut his wrist and didn't tape a show. What next?

On his first show after the Weiner story broke, Jon Stewart told of his close historical relationship to Weiner and said he hoped it wasn't true. They also apparently attended college together; I don't remember if they were roommates. Therefore, I have no doubt that Stewart is in great pain over this.

No, not roomates... he said Wiener and Wiener's roomates had a place on the beach for the summer and Stewart used to go and mooch/crash on their couch at times...

So, if they weren't college roommates, the title of this thread is incorrect. Just visiting Weiner and his buddies at the beach shouldn't count as roommates, right?

Ack!! Jon Stewart has a Facebook account dedicated to sex. Of all kinds.
College students are encouraged to post gay photos of themselves on Facebook. He and Colbert and others have posted such photos of themselves.
I'm beginning to have a better understanding of why these people find Sarah Palin so horrible. She's normal.

I called people I shared an apartment with roommates. Not housemates or apartmentmates. Regional maybe? Didn't mean to imply they had a relationship. Seemed from their conversation they had hijinks together similar to those that got Weiner in trouble. Photos with which they could ruin each others careers. They said it not me.
