I tend to rotate through who I listen to, depending on my mood. Recently its been Lecrae. Who have you been listening to the most recently?

lately been rotating through German pop and rock groups from the 60s through today. There are some pretty good tunes there but nearly impossible to access from normal US sources. We miss a lot of cool music here by adhering to a near english only format . The internet is a great help as there are over 600 German radio stations streaming on the internet. yea, mood has a lot to do with what a person tunes into daily.

I was blown away by the new solo stuff from Ed Kowalczyk on my cruise a couple weeks ago. I've been listening to that new CD as well as the old Live CDs I've pulled back off the shelf.

I heard about Girl Talk back in November when he released his All Day project. BTW, it's available to download for free on his website. An example of his music is that he took an 80s track, laid it over a Beatles hook and had a rap song as the lyrics. Here is the crazy part, he makes it all blend in nicely. I know a little about mixing and scratching so you have no idea how difficult this is to do. His work blows my mind like whoa!

I've been listening to Love's "Forever Changes" album, and have recently enjoyed Heloise and the Savoir Faire, as well as Saint Etienne (all of these artists perform English-language tracks).

Diana Krall is fab! I have her CD, "The Look of Love" and just watched her version of Cry Me a River on You Tube from Paris. Also, Temptaton from the Montreal Jazz Festival. Outstanding!

I love Billie Holiday. Lately I've been listening to Otis Redding and Maroon 5. Who knows what it will be next, lol. I just love music in general.
