Times change
Markets change
People adapt....business's adapt or die....
50 years ago no one expected every desk in corporate America to have a computer doing millions of computations quicker than a blink of an eye
Cell phones were absent.....the list is endless
Has America changed...oh yeah
For the better? In some ways yes....in a lot of ways, no.
But those times...and those values.....and those days are behind us
Now...what is in your future? That is the question.......and how do we capitalize on it, so our kids will have a better and easier life than we did

Long Term investing has become a short term play. The future is so uncertain, (Not just Financially, But Politically as well) that it becomes imperative to stay very fluid. Just the way we have evolved in the market place the last 20 years. Starting with the introduction of the 401K and allowing corporations to invest pension plans. Along with trade agreements, labor war, wage reduction, wealth reduction (Housing) and inflation of commodities make for a dangerous mixture.
The world is so unstable right now that any blowup could happen to send oil to 150+ a barrel as one example. We now know, AG products are going higher do to drought and floods.
Politically we have zero leadership and guidance and that makes business folks very nervous to say the least. Banks are not lending money for housing or business. Why? They know something we don't or refuse to see. The world is not stable at this time!

Investors may come back to stocks wither they want to or not. THE fed is going to drive interest on CD,s, money markets and checking accounts to zero. Real estate is at least 5 years from recovery, so stocks are the only hope for income on retirement savings.

The world has been unstable many times before, at least this time its unstable because people all over the world are making noise and want what we have as shitty as that might be. As a long term investor that invests in things that all these people want, you should be very happy looking forwrd.
The point that "I" was trying to make, was that this press release was a study done by company with a shitty annuity and they want to scare people into buying it, by showing the market is unstable. Looks like it works pretty well. Funny thing is, all this annuity money goes right back in the market.

Been some more pullouts over the weekend and they will continue to do so until things get cleaned up and straightened out. However quick gimmick acct. will be showing strong to cover the shorts. Don't get caught with your pants down at the Casino.

Just like College should be - It's probably not a place where the "Average" person belongs. Most people couldn't even tell you what the stock market is!
