<<<<<<<<Well we sure notice when you're making shit up. We keep pointing out how we "don't think that way," but Conservatives haven't seemed to notice and keep doing the strawman routines. His approval rating is going up, even as shooting Bin Laden becomes a distant memory. >>>>>>>> My aren't we sensitive today. Worried about something ?

"Actually if you get a pay stub and compare it to last year(at the same wage of course) you will find out that they raised federal tax income when they dropped the social security 2%"
one needs to note that withholding is not the same as actual tax...
if one makes 50K in 2011 and made 50K in 2010..... assuming single, no children, no home, no state income tax, no real estate taxes...... federal income tax 6350 and 6250 for 2010 and 2011, respectively.....
but in 2011 the "making work pay credit" signed into law by the President does not exist, it expired at the end of 2010.... so, the net tax in 2010 is 5950 compared to 6250 in 2011.... I guess that could be called a tax increase or on the other hand it could be considered a cut in an entitlement, depending on how one feels about special tax credits.....
