Probably most use the refund on cars and trucks. But I wonder if it would be better to give every month instead of in a lump sum.

jkapp, do you see your co-workers tax return? Did you see the invoice for her vacation? Do you know what, if any, credit card bills were paid down? Do you care?

This is just about the dumbest statistic I've seen. So the rich, instead of being burdened by high state and local taxes, move to more friendly states. We've said this how many times on these boards that states can't soak the rich BECAUSE THEY'LL MOVE.
Just ask Lebron - one of the reasons not to go to the Knicks? Because it's much better to keep >10% of your income instead of give it to the state of NY [or at least for half of the games he plays in NY]. FL has zero state taxes.
Math seems to be a weak point for the writer. Either that or logic - take your pick.
Can you find us a chart that breaks out the bush tax cuts by who benefits from them please? You're so good at finding information that I'd love to see the results posted here. Please key in and find the impact of the AMT tax on the middle class if the "Bush tax cuts"...that were renewed by Obama, are left to expire.
