Why did George W. Bush invade Iraq?

can you say nation building? Obama is still carrying out the mission and now with the help of the CIA has Egypt and soon Libya in the globalist game....Who is next? Yemen...Who knows but Iran will be the last.

I didn't particularly like most of what Bush did, but the hatred is uncalled for....the man inherited a lot of bubble burst and happened to be the unlucky recipient in office and the vitriol spewing forth is a bit much. Most Presidents have little to do with the economy and are basically lucky or unlucky to be in office when something happens to the economy. Did he use 9/11 as a jumping board to go into Iraq...probably. Was it something that should have been taken care of at some point between the first Gulf War and the when we invaded Iraq a second time...also probably should have happened before Bush even got into office.

I disagreed with most of the man's politics, but I also understood I could disagree without spewing venom at him in an attempt to destroy his image and work against him every step of the way just to score some political points.

There are plenty of posters on this board that are constantly spewing venom at Obama , I dont recall you coming to his defense.
