What don't people understand about the fact that a LOT of people do not approve of President Obama, and getting Bin Laden, yes, with a LOT of help from years of Bush and MILITARY help does not change that?? Does someone expect Palin to sing Obama's praise?? REALLY? Rumsfeld himself admitted that water boarding DID NOT lead to the intelligence that led to the killing of OBL. The only thing Bush did is outsource the attempted killing of OBL in Tora Bora then he proclaimed that he is not that concerned with Bin Laden and doesnt spend that much time thinking about him. Bush also stated that the very strategy used by Pres Obama and the SEALS to kill OBL would not work. Here's how President Bush explained this Tuesday: "This thing about . . . let's put 100,000 of our special forces stomping through Pakistan in order to find bin Laden is just simply not the strategy that will work."To give Bush credit for this recent accomplishment makes no sense at all. www.weeklystandard.com/Content/Public/Articles/000/000/012/696wnfcp.asp

Sweet, my friend-- there is already a Bush bashing thread going strong. I see you are posting there as well.

Sweet, my friend-- there is already a Bush bashing thread going strong. I see you are posting there as well. krickitt, stating my opinion that Bush had zero to do with the killing of OBL is not "Bush bashing." I am stating facts and quotes by Bush himself. There aren't specifically designated threads to state opinions that Bush deserves no credit for killing OBL. When the subject comes up, I state my opinion, regardless of which thread it is on.

I've posted several neutral articles about the way everything happened. Won't bother doing it again. It was a 10 year effort, not a 2 year effort. I have chosen to stay away from this topic, if you don't mind. It's going in circles, and not worth my time, to be honest. See ya on another topic, though. Lots of illegals stuff on the board today..

Of course that is fine krickitt, if you want to stay off this topic that is your right. But I will respond one last time to your last claim that this was a 10 year effort. No it was not. Bush made it clear and straight forward that he was no longer concerned about bin Laden, and getting him was no longer a priority. He put most of his focus and effort on Iraq, which by the way had nothing to do with 9 11 and Osama bin Laden.

I still don't get what you are inferring, to be upset that some here or anywhere is posting things about her, why not. cme is saying that whining about someone is what keeps them in the spotlight and ignoring that person is the best way to get them out of the spotlight. ie...don't complain someone is in the spotlight when you keep shining it on them instead of simply shutting off the damned light. Honestly, I agree with him on that. I'm conservative, yet the only time I ever hear about Palin (or trump for that matter) is when she (he) is brought up here. ooohh I believe she is getting a bit more media coverage then here on the Proboard site of ours, yes indeedie

If Palin runs and wins, will there be a budget for earplugs for the people. she has one of the most annoying and whining voices I have ever heard. I bet her husband sleeps in his own room so he doesn't have to listen to her yap in her sleep. However, I do think it's time we tried a FEMALE President. Look at all the men we have that has effed up the country and the world. Maybe it's time for a woman's touch and Hookers rights to hook a man and charge him a fee.
