President George W. Bush said: Earlier this evening, President Obama called to inform me that American forces killed Osama bin Laden, the leader of the al Qaeda network that attacked America on September 11, 2001. I congratulated him and the men and women of our military and intelligence communities who devoted their lives to this mission. They have our everlasting gratitude. This momentous achievement marks a victory for America, for people who seek peace around the world, and for all those who lost loved ones on September 11, 2001. The fight against terror goes on, but tonight America has sent an unmistakable message: No matter how long it takes, justice will be done. www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/05/01/osama-bin-laden-dead-killed_n_856091.html#14_george-w-bush-no-matter-how-long-it-takes-justice-will-be-done

Ok, but I do not think Bush's class and patriotism was ever in doubt.

Fine, sweet, believe Obama enacted some miracle Bush did not. At least Obama himself had the sense to contact the former President that led the troops for all those years before Obama. Unless, of course, you think those years and efforts and lives were for nothing. As President Bush said tonight-"The message is that if you attack the US we will not stop until you are brought to justice."

Now the big question.
What does the U.S. do with his body? Put him on display? (too tacky) I do believe President Obama has to do, or show something, to prove to the extremists that Osama is dead. I do not think part of the world will believe it without some physical presentation involved.

As President Bush said tonight-"The message is that if you attack the US we will not stop until you are brought top justice." I would never think that the lives were for nothing krickitt. I am a 1st Gulf War vet for Christ sake. The point I am making is that as much as it hurts the right, Bush cannot get credit for this. Obama presided over this mission, if any president gets credit, it has to go to Obama. The special forces who conducted the mission are the ones who deserve the actual credit. But Obama is Commander in Chief, not Bush.

Chum bait for the sharks? Kind of appropiate, but, a little too humane for me. He deserves a little less.

No because you my sir have lost your marbles....just a guess as to where someone so hatefull of the POTUS would get their news. If I was insane, you could attack my ideas instead of my: you engage in ad hominen attacks: the sign of a weak or non existent arguement. My premise is simple: you and other Obama synchophants are falling over yourselves to give Obama undue credit for the killing of Osama when clearly the credit goes to our military forces. I am pointing this out as well as showing how once against you attempt to obscure the issue by parroting "racist" and "Fox News." You are all pathetic sheep. The president in office always gets the credit for major events - just as he gets the blame when something goes wrong. That's the way the cookie crumbles. Deal with it.

I wonder if the birthers will deny Osama's death rather than give Obama credit for his death?

CBS said that his body would be "disposed of" so that there wouldn't be a site to which admirers could gather to honor him.

to steal credit from our brave soldiers to give to a failed President
You seem to forget that the president is the Commander and Chief of the military. Commending the president for a job well done is not stealing credit from the military, it's acknowledging the military's accomplishment.
WAY TO GO NAVY SEALS!!!!

I believe DNA testing has already been done on his body to prove it was really him.

Crowd is getting huge in front of the White House. I HOPE THE PRESIDENT OPENS THE WINDOWS, AND LISTENS. He deserves to hear the cheers, and fall asleep to the noise.

Burial at sea. No grave, no bones, no nothing. Simply fish food.

ARE WE TALKING ABOUT LIBYA NOW?
Did we invade Libya....yet? Lobbing a couple of bombs does not an invasion make.
