Update: 23/20 NSD.
Didn't do hardly anything all weekend- and it was awesome. Tried garage sale-ing on Saturday but didn't find anything good. Went to an auction but same thing- nothing worth staying to bid on. Sunday we went to my nephew's b-day party. One of the guest- little girl that turned 5 yesterday knows me from dropping DN off at daycare so she claims me as her "Auntie Sheila" too. She was shy around the other kids so I hung out with her at the party. She did invite me to her party this coming weekend ;D Yesterday we cleaned and organized around the house and went to see Hangover 2. Funny- pretty vulgar- but funny.
sapphire- USAA_ i think it was you that asked. Yes- we have auto and home owner's insurance through them and my car loan too.

Well good news I got our rental car for vacation with points off our credit card, so that should save us about $250. Bad news I spent that much at least. Got a new TV for our bedroom (the sound was going on the old one) and bought new shoes and shorts/capris. (The last 3 summers I've been making due with 2 capris and 1 pair of shorts, hoping to lose the baby weight.) So I bought 3 more pairs of shorts and 1 pair of capris.
I've only got 8 days of work left before vacation so I won't be on much until after vacation.

Crazy weekend here. Actually just yesterday was crazy. Took kids to the pool, then mom met us there. Neighbor came, I asked after the new dog and that was all that was said between us. Odd thing was today she had both dogs at the bus stop. We didn't go out as I was driving DS#1 since he had treats to celebrate his birthday. Talked a little when she brought her garbage out and DS#2 was waiting for his bus. DD and her youngest son did play at the pool.
Then came home and DSIS came over with my niece. Mom took the kids to the store for a treat. Then we all had dinner and off to the pool again this time with DSIS and niece. Kids had fun. Came home to find mom getting drunk with DF. (She hardly ever does it so it was amuzing) Then as putting DD to bed hear a comotion going on downstairs, dog barking lady screaming on the porch....
So Mom was in the family playing with the dog. A little boy (2.5 YO) that was at a party next door came in apparently before they were playing there and hid on my couch. He didn't close the door all the way. So his mom comes over, the door blows open and the dog is barking at her so she won't come in. She gets surprised and starts screaming. I get the dog and hold him by the collar and see the kid on the couch. So get kid reunited with mom. I was very proud of our puppy, he didn't try to go after the woman, he just wasn't going to allow her in the home. He also completely ignored the child.
circus music anyone? It's the theme of our home!

Update: 15 CS + 10 NS = 25 of 27, 6 MOAN
Yesterday was a spend. I should have made dinner at home, but we were driving by my favorite teriyaki place, and they were open. So I made a last minute decision to buy teriyaki for dinner. Today will be a controlled spend. We didn't have time to hit CostCo on earlier in the weekend, so I need to run and do that today. Should take me to 26 out of 27. I'm bummed I won't make my goal, but considering everything that's been going on this month, I'll take falling one day short. However, in June I need to buckle down as it's our last month of UE. Time to get back on the straight and narrow.
MK: Sounds like the puppy did great. I have no problems with dogs barking at strangers who try and come in my house without knocking. In fact, that's one of the thinks I WANT my dogs to do.
Hope everyone otherwise had a good and safe weekend. Now that I am back at work, I'd like to take a nap...

busy, busy weekend for me! I'll recap it all on my blog but I pretty much spent every day as we got the tools we needed to finish things around my house. Dad was a bit whiny but since he really only comes up to work twice a year I had a long list of things to complete.
Today I had my old dishwasher and clothes washer hauled away for $20. So glad that's done!
I haven't kept track very well so no ;D for me this month!
I'll hop over to June and introduce my new June goals.

Estimates from the body-shop are in for DH's accident on Friday. $4,031.77 for a 99 Chevy s-10 with a blue book value of $3200. Makes me mad because the kid that hit DH has no insurance so it's all on our insurance. Truck was paid for and worked perfect for DH. Where else are we going to find something under $4000 with less than 65,000 miles on it? Pain in the butt.

I walked into St. Vinnie's today, and walked out without buying anything. That is all. ;D

Update: 18 NS and 12 CS days Have quite a few CS days (and not as many NS) since I have been off work. I will continue to have some of these as I frequently shop for some annual items such as AC filters once a year. I stockpile a box each year and work my way through it all year. Time to get a new box. The temps have been getting close to 100 degrees this week. I really have to get myself back into getting things done in a more timely manner. I'm in the "vacation" mindset that things will get done but not as efficiently as they could.
