I have to say that the hardest thing about being a Moderator on these forums is curtailing the nearly overwhelming urge to fix typos in topic headlines. Seriously ~ it can really drive me nuts. (Yes, I'm a bit OCD about these sorts of things. Heck, about all sorts of things.) That being said, I am more than willing to cross political party lines ~ but not birthday party lines, conga lines, or buffet lines.

Are you or are you not a union hating scab?

Ewwwww..... I hate the word (and the mental image) .... "scab."
As to picket lines, I've crossed some, but not others. Then again, some were supposedly "information lines" vs. actual "picket lines" ~ though the distinction was rather lost on me at the time.

I would cross lines. I want Deminmaine, a seemingly fair liberal, Safe, more old school and thoughtful, and Molly, a kitty. I like balance. It would be stupid of me to vote for a mod that I have bad history with-- more self preservation than meanness, IMO.

Not wanting to suggest anything, but just possible, if one had bad history, now careful here but just possible. think back now, just in a far out chance of, the one who had the problem with the moderator, it just might have, a itsy bit of, being the one who had the bad history , the one at fault , just maybe? ;D

That made no sense, Dez, but my bad history with Tenn was not as a mod, but personal. Just like I would not vote for mods that I'm sure don't like me, I won't vote for anyone that doesn't like me. Just common sense. It really doesn't matter who did what to who when where why how-- it just is what it is. I gotta look out for myself here, because we usually get in twubble when we try to look out for each other.

I think each mod candidate should list the two posters they'd most like to ban if the proper circumstance arose. They don't have to promise to do it, just which two would give them the most satisfaction if it happened. Kinda like 'who would you volunteer to be in the firing squad for?'.
... all in good fun, of course!

I'd vote for Demi 'n Maine any day! Even if he is a Dem man.

morning all..have to say after reading the posts here something was bothering me , reminding me of something but just couldn't place it. Heard about things like this before but have never seen it my self but in the back of my mind I keep thinking I have and suddenly, went off in my mind. A documentary on a TV channel, something about shark frenzy , feeding when they all get excited when prey is wounded and they circle the prey and take some bites...go completely beserk in their excitement , same thing here...WOW... ;D

I wonder if we will have an influx of new people coming in when voting time comes around?

I am on every waking hour (broken bones) and I am seeing new people pop in and out every day now. I will be really mad if these not P&M posters come run our mod elections. Someone needs to make a rule about that. That would be like me voting in EE, which I would never do because I don't know the players over there. But someone could get a little grassroots PM campaign going.
Moon-- what do you say?? Should people from other places be allowed to vote here if they do not post here regularly? Think USA voting laws.

Why not, many might just come over here and marvel at..well won't say, but possible just stand aside and watch all the action and shake their heads in bewilderment but open forum, don't need a ticket to go from one play ground to another like Disney World..they also might surprise you all with who they might vote for too.. especially after all the observing in bewilderment ;D Us voting rules?? Thinking "Msn Money Board Refugee voting rights "...winging it is more our thing, methinks.

Ratchets- that is exactly why I think we should have some kind of rules. People that post here know the posters. Seems like a lot of us agree about Dem and Safe. FY is good, also.

Rules what rules, we don't need no damn rules we is the MSB MONEY BOARDS REFUGEES and don't forget it..Rules?? Rules are for s... well as long as nominations, how about Lakhota, a different voice..one who has been away awhile on sebattical broadening his life experiences, meeting new folks, gaining worl experiences..might do well as a moderator Not sure if he amendable to the position but a thought

I like Lak, but pretty sure he would be too biased. We need moderate mods with different POV, IMO, so when they get together to make banning, etc. choices there is balance.

HEY!!! I have a hairless dog!! I have to put sunscreen on him so he does not burn and peel, and lotion him up every few days. He is very easy to bathe...

Every time I see one I think of a woman I once sold a house to. She had a hairless dog and she smoked cigarettes. Poor pooch always smelled like as ashtray but was the sweetest thing ever.

Mine is a luvbug. Feels like a baby to hold. That is creepy at first, but once you get used to it..... keeps my feet warm in bed, too, in the winter. He seems to have a higher body temp (or something) than my other dogs. OOPS!! WAY off topic. #shucks# Kreepy did it.... .
