I feel the same, welts. Even Choo Chi at her worst is better than no Choo Chi at all! I hope he gets to feeling better. Purrs and hisses from my gang.

I think I may have gotten a handle on it. My son moved back home about a week ago because he had a huge fight with his girlfriend. The other day, I heard him giggling upstairs. I asked him what was so funny and he said it tickles when Sushi sucks the styling product out of his hair. My son likes his hair spiky and uses a ton of styling putty every day. Evidently, the cat has been ingesting it. This is moulding putty and has the consistency of caulking before it hardens. Now, I'm not a vet, but I'm reasonably certain that moulding putty is not on the recommended dietary list for felines. I did notice the cat chewing on my hair when I'm sleeping and have mousse in it. However, I don't let him keep doing it. His insides were probably plugged up with Salon Selectives Styling Putty. I've been feeding him bits of his favourite food doused with olive oil to facilitate egress of that crap. He seems to be getting better. Stupid cat.

Good luck with the cat Welts. Stuff like that happens. Some of my lizards would eat my hair(shed strands) including my old bearded dragon. Not good for them either even without product.

He was exhibiting behaviour to me that was very unbecoming to a mod, and then dragging it to another thread. It was beyond childish.

Well, everything is back to normal. He's recovered enough to play wrestling and to launch himself vertically from the floor, slamming between my shoulder blades. It feels like getting hit with a basball bat. BANZAI!!

Yeah! We got 1.2 inches of rain last weekend. It made the dirt wet under all the dead brush and grass. Too bad it doesn't change our drought rating from a d-4, our deficit is still over 12 inches for the year. The grass is showing a little green now and the Amur honeysuckle by the barn has new little buds showing!

Oh Dear Lord. There was just a knock on my door. The neighbours up the block wanted me to sign a petition, asking the Humane Society to investigate a cat being tortured in the neighbourhood. They said the animal sounds like it's in extreme distress and they were very worried. I assured them it's just Sushi "expressing himself", but they seemed skeptical. I told them to look up Siamese traits online and told them it was just wonderful that they were concerned enough to do this. I hope I have no further problems. Stupid cat.

Mmhmm, were any of your meezers thieves? Last week I came downstarirs to find gnawed rounds of pita bread spread out over the living room carpet like some bizarre stepping stones. I discovered a loaf of sourdough buried under the throw rug. Yesterday I was watching a movie and I heard a weird "shhh thump, shhh thump". I was Sushi dragging an entire bag of kiwi fruit that he stole from the kitchen table and absconding with it to parts unknown. I brought several ears of corn home from a bbq, and sure enough! He dragged all three butter-drenched ears off the counter and pulled them all over the house, leaving greasy tracks like a giant snail. Took two bites out of each. Is this normal for a meezer or is he just a hooligan, like the gals of Riot?

Good gosh, yes, welts. They were ALL thieves! It's a given with meezers. They steal anything they can get their little claws and teeth into, and usually hide it where you can't find it. Sushi is just living up to his genetic heritage. Heck, my mother had a Burmese that stole a bag of marshmallows from somebody's cookout. He came dragging them through the back door looking ever so pleased with himself. Have no idea whose bash did without roasted marshmallows.

Your cat tales are freaking hysterical.

You should have seen little, bitty Choo Chi dragging the ten pound bag of dry cat food from the kitchen cabinet (which she'd pried open) into the solarium. Damn thing was twice her weight!
