I agree Snerd. I used to love finding albums that 'grew' on you. The Cars had a couple, the Yachts (out of the UK) and a few other.
Blondie had some great ones, I prefered her older albums like Parallel Lines and Blondie before she got quite as big of a hit, then I didn't like her music as much. I think my Pat Benatars are all albums and I am going to have to try putting them into digital. I have a few hundred albums that I have listened to maybe a handful over the last couple of decades. They are downstairs so it's out of sight, out of mind.

I've been impressed with the Fame album also. I have it on my Touch and been listening to it recently. Her videos are great, her music is also great and she has the voice to carry it. I've always like female lead singers like Belinda Carlisle and Suzanne Hoffs.

And, female artists are often underrated and sort of brushed off even though they can write and perform some pretty amazing music. Andre Bocelli and Sarah Brightman, both are awesome, but you mostly hear of him and not her, and she has an amazing voice. she was the blue alien creature in the film The Fifth Element.

Sounds like the sample that DJ Muggs used for Cypress Hill's "Insane in the Membrane" and House of Pain's "Jump Around".

Lady GaGa is admirable cuz she's over the top with her creativity unlike someone Justin Bieber who has a good song performance. Plus she appears to be hard working despite creating her songs while being buzzed.
