Oh yes, the "apology" tour. Contrasted with that video of Trump pushing his way to the front of world leaders. My principal and I were discussing this type thing, in general- not specifics. He was saying perhaps we need to reexamine our sense of leadership.

That view will do more to topple the United States than it will to keep us on top.  Nobody is saying we should elevate other countries above our own, but it is a lot easier to maintain your position on top of the mountain if you help others up rather than try to stomp them down.

I have zero expectation that a conservative would ever understand that, given how prone they are to both fear and greed.

I am okay with no country being number one in all things as no country takes the top spot in everything. The US is really only number one when it comes to the size of our military and our exporting of movies and TV shows. We are already woefully behind when it comes to food and drug safety. Thanks to Trump our health metrics and rights of our citizens will plummet further.

It had nothing to do with the US being on top. The leaders were on stage for a group picture and trump pushed a few out of the way so he could be in front. He's taller then most anyway but just couldn't stay in place with someone in front of him. Just the arrogant ass he always is.
