To give this thread a closure, I just purchased my insurance with Progressive.
Same coverage as Amica. 614 for car, 6 months. 295 condo, 12 months.
I think it's a very good rate. I followed the advice to pay all in advance. I little painful for my pocket, lol. But it gave me 100 dollars discount. The cost comes to 126 a month. Granted, I was paying Amica monthly, but even if I were paying Progressive monthly, it would be 145 versus 221 for Amica.
I am happy and a little worried at the same time. I was with Amica for 5 years. They are a good company, excellent service and very professional. But they were costing me a fortune.
I just called and cancelled them.
