Sorry, I digress... Are you allowed to hang flower or plant baskets? I am picturing a big, elaborate flower or plant basket with a small hummingbird feeder cleverly suspended within and concealed by the plants in the basket. It would have to be a pretty big arrangement, but I'll bet the hummingbirds would find it. (I hate to be told I can't do something I want to do, and my devious brain immediately begins to think of ways to thwart the ban). Anyway, what possible threat could hummingbirds be?

They do attack other male hummingbirds during breeding season and perhaps delivery peeps if the feeder is too close to the door used for delivery. Only had one live in person experience down the shore with this, but they can be fast and angry little critters. With long sharp pointy beaks.

Pennsylvania can be a bit risky, as it is one of the few states that enforces filial responsibility laws. So if you enter into nursing care in PA and then later run out of money, the nursing home can sue your children and win in court for any unpaid balances. The children don't have to live in PA to be liable. So a republican law ... tiptoes out of thread.

It was passed in 1771 before the Revolution and was based on an Elizabethan law from the 1600s.

Back in the 2000s my grandmother moved into an assisted living apartment community. They had a restaurant/cafeteria and her rent included 2 meals per day, laundry services, maid service once a week, activity director, and transportation to shopping and medical appointments. She made a lot of friends and really loved the place. At the time it was my fantasy to move into someplace like that and escape from all of my chores. Escaping the drudgery of daily/weekly chores is my fantasy. Who knew the phrase “what’s for dinner” could bring such angst, stress and rage?

I apologize up front but when I read your reply I burst out laughing. Hangs head in shame.
