I am glad I set myself the reminder because I went to the grocery store at just the time it would happen. I got the tone and the message. I was able to acknowledge and stop the sound, but other people had theirs just going off.

When I got to the grocery store the bus from a local retirement home was there. Most of the people in the store were elderly. Maybe they couldn’t hear the tone and that is why they didn’t react? 🤔

It's true. I have gotten multiple Covid vaccines and booster shots. I was in the middle of my scheduled examination with my proctologist when the test warning began. The test warning was quite loud in my doctor's office and it startled my doctor. He pulled his index finger out and all of a sudden nano-particles were shooting in the air like confetti from my butt.

It was quite embarrassing.

Sadly, there are people that believe weird and impossible stuff. Exhibit A from a day or so ago.

Haha. I'm hungry and tired now, too. I stopped and got a bean and cheese burrito for dinner at Taco Time, with extra cheese. All I can taste is the hot spices. I didn't even eat 1/3 of it. It's too hot. No flavor. I don't enjoy that. And I haven't slept in the last 2 days, stressing over Disneyland details. I want to do everything correctly, both before and during the vaca. I don't want to give anyone a reason to be unhappy with me.
But I rarely travel further than DD2's house, which is 40 minutes away from mine (a suburb of my city) and that doesn't require much packing or planning. I just go and come home.

Wanna come and fix me dinner? Are you a better cook than NNP?

Boh mine an DD2's phones blared and showed a message. Then, when I got home this evening, my old Galaxy S7 phone, that hasn't had a SIM card in it, or any calls or texts made to, or from it, in years, also had the emergency Alert message on it. I think I'm covered, in an emergency.

Tennesseer, I'd say, that was an error on his part, not yours. I bet worse has happened there. Hahaha (I get your discomfort though.)

Didn't really happen. I was napping when the warnings went off yesterday. Had thyme4change not mentioned nano-particles in an earlier post, I wouldn't have had any good material to make a story up.

Don't take your phone into church. Quiet in waiting rooms is appreciated, not required. Everyone in one should be in the same boat wanting their phone and understanding the test is non-optional.

Really? It was massively advertised that it was going to happen? Why would anyone be annoyed about it? And I say that as someone who spends her day in a building with 400 people and at least 250 cell phones that is supposed to have a decorum.
