Unless you're a trumplican. Then there is no losing because it's all lies/fake news/not fair/whatever other lame-ass bullshit you can come up with.

the Hill article was pretty thin. i have read a couple of other things that say the GJ VOTED to indict. i am not sure the DA has taken that up.
this is from the NYT, which implies that Bragg intends to move forward:
Mr. Bragg and his lawyers will likely attempt to negotiate Mr. Trump’s surrender. If he agrees, it will raise the prospect of a former president, with the Secret Service in tow, being photographed and fingerprinted in the bowels of a New York State courthouse.

Posting the link was just to show trump was actually indicted and that me announcing trump was indicted was not the ramblings of a confused old man.

I can't believe he got indicted. He deserves it, absolutely. But the rich and well connected hardly ever pay for their crimes.
Not sure how far this will go. He may be acquitted .

I texted the news to my GF, who is out of the country (in Japan) right now. She responded, "Wow!! He will kill some people now." My response: "He should start at the top...with himself. If only he were Japanese, where ritual suicide was still a thing."

He may be acquitted . he might. but i think the odds are about 90% of him getting indicted in something ELSE that will stick BEFORE he is acquitted in this case.

Even MSNBC is questioning the viability of this case. This could be bad. My husband has been saying for years - if they are going to charge him, they should have a rock solid case.

That sounds like a lot for just the Stormy Daniels transactions. I wonder if they found something else.

Hey? Have the Trump kids said anything yet? Or are they keeping their heads down and trying not to be noticed by the various grand juries?

Legally, he can’t refuse, I don’t think, but he can probably bring the whole thing to a massive slow down. I think Trump is eager to be frog marched, though. He’s fundraising like hell over this.

Over in Reddit, in the conservative thread, the comments lean towards 1) he didn’t really do much, it’s just a misdemeanor, 2) Stormy denied having an affair with him, is she lying now or then, 3) Cohen is a convicted liar, 4) who hasn’t tried to cover up an extramarital affair, 5) nothing burger that will fold like a cheap paper plate under a messy pile of baked beans, leaving the demoncrats once more with egg on their face.
