Realized I haven't posted in a while.
August was mainly on track. I needed to buy toner for the printer. Will need to get other colors soon but will be spacing out those over the months. Recently replaced all of the colors but I try not to print if not needed. Also cashed in some points for a craft item that I have had my eye on for over a year. Very glad I had enough to pay for that purchase.
Rest of purchases were the usual -- food, gas, monthly bills, medical, and RXs.
September started with some clothes and shoe shopping, Most items were on sale and were on the needed list. So I don't feel bad about them. Haven't purchased new tops in almost a year and the ones I have been wearing are showing the frequent use.
Yesterday I went to a bead show and restocked some needed items. That will come from the craft sinking fund that I have where I put any money I make at the craft shows so it will not come from my monthly budget. Glad that the craft show season is starting up again as I want to replenish that amount.
Hope all of you are doing well.

Had 18 NSDs in October. Hoping for the same or better this month.

Both my weight and spending were up the month of October. Coincidence? Hmmmm....

Ugh...I am eagerly waiting the 2024 thread. Our frivolous spending is out of control.

Been a while since I posted here. November -- No Spend days = 16 days Several spend days were usual monthly expenses and a few were because of the drops needed for my cataract surgeries. A few fun things were also purchased/experienced. December -- currently at 14 no spend days. Several lunches to catch up with friends, usual monthly expenses, a little shopping and a deposit on a future trip. (Balance due in January -- travel in April). Did not expect to schedule this trip but may not have the opportunity to visit these places at a later time. I'm not getting younger. Will try to update at the end of the year -- I think I may be able to add a few more No Spends to my total. Today may be one but I am holding out just in case.

Finished the month with 18 No Spend Days.
Finished the year with 218 No Spend Days (so 59.7% of my year consisted of No Spend Days)
Note my Spend Days included necessary spending including groceries, ulitities, insurance, medical, and normal monthly bills as well as fun things.

Is there a new 2024 thread yet? I’d like to participate more this year as I’m attempting a low spend YEAR
