More cold water. (This is my nature. It is not about you.) Is there any possibility that your husband's ex-wife terminated alimony due to a bad medical diagnosis, becoming disabled, losing a huge lawsuit, or having to declare bankruptcy? If she ended alimony payments for any of these reasons, she may no longer be able to provide any financial support for her children with your husband. This may increase the demands on your husband's income.
We really don't know why she's done this. However, she has not provided any financial support for the children in over 15 years. There will be no difference made between what we currently pay to support any of our children and this allocation change.

For the parent plus loans, there are two separate ones on for DS#1 and one for DD#1. (DS#2 didn't finish college, and we cash-flowed our contribution to DD#2's college expenses.)
Due to DD#1 graduating in 2020, hers haven't had a payment needed yet nor has any interest been charged. DS's--who finished his BS ten years ago-- still has almost the same amount we took out due to the structuring of federal student loans. We could certainly throw 60 to 75% of the take-home toward those and splurge with the remainder.
For the house we just purchased, the primary bathroom needs to be fully remodeled. That remodel will include a soaking tub. I'd planned on saving for that over the course of 18 months. I could save for that in half the time now.

My wife and I have a general rule that we get to blow 10% of any "found" money. For us, we'd upgrade our travel plans.
After that, we're good little YM'ers with no debt other than a small mortgage at a great rate so here's what we'd do with the rest:
HSA to max 401(k) to match Roth IRA to max 401(k) to max Grandkids 529 (20% credit in Indiana up to max $1,000) Taxable account

I wasn't sure I wanted the maintenance so tub heated may be my solution.

I can't imagine using one that isn't. For whatever that's worth.
