I clicked on the Dallas paper article, and surprisingly, after reading the article was this headline directly underneath the article. www.dallasnews.com/news/immigration/2022/04/15/abbott-backs-off-inspections-but-vows-to-close-border-if-migration-spikes/And notice the date. April 15th............ I understand why Mexico decided to threaten this rail line going to Texas, but the article did not discuss how long the original plan was in the works, or when it would start or be finished. I imagine by moving it over to New Mexico, our Federal Government would have about a ten year investigation into environmental problems. I imagine it would endanger some exotic animal or bird by going through it's native habitat, etc.

DMN has one of the best investigative reporting units in the country. not sure if this came from that department, but if it did, i would put my money behind it being accurate.

Imagine all you want. The fact is Abott stoped this on April 15th, and Mexico has more responsibility for Abott's actions by not controlling their southern border and helping migrants over run our border while enriching the drug cartels......and I would not be surprised if the rail access will go thru Texas as originally planned. These projects take years to happen not a month or two. One phone call by President Biden to the Mexican President can end this shit at the border. Yeh, I know Biden wil not do it until his handlers tell him to make the call.

^^^I'm soooo sorry you can't find FACTS!
ETA...Yes, Abbott stopped the funky "inspections" on the 15th, but he made Mexico realize that they had all their eggs in one basket, so they are rectifying that by moving the rail to N.M. Smart of those in Mexico, they they won't have to deal with Abbott any longer whether or not he is reelected. If Texans are smart, they won't reelect him though. He is costing them money at every turn.
