What shopping or coupon apps do you have on your smart phone? Do you use them frequently? Feel they are safe or unsafe?
I am still learning my smart phone and I clip coupons on the laptop. However, I know several retailers that will only give you discounts if you load the app on your phone and show it at check out. Lastly, any advice dos or don'ts for loading apps on one's smartphone?

I just use the Lidl app. I use to coupon a lot, but now I pretty much stick with Lidl and Aldi and they don't take them.

I use Fetch Rewards and used to use Ibotta. They're more for scanning receipts than during the process.
I use Rakutan on my desktop when I'm getting stuff. It IS for use during the process: you get a Big Fat Check every quarter, based upon how much each retailer has for cash back. It even has things like ancestry.com on it which is cool because my six-month membership netted me $20 cash back.

I used Ibotta, Rakuten, Walgreens, Kroger & Safeway. Super easy to add coupons on the last 3. I add my list then it tells me if there’s a coupon.

I used Ibotta and liked it. Got a good amount back but it changed to only debit cards. I only use charge not debit cards so stopped using ibotta I use and like the ShopRite and Acme (stop n shop) apps They’re easy to use. I like the Acme because it gives rewards based on purchases and often gives extra rewards. eg 4 for $100 order eg for 7 rewards I can get $10 off order Both are easy , just go through digital deals on the app, click on ones you want Acme - put in phone # on cc machine ShopRite- give cashier your SR card

I use Ibotta. The debit card thing is only if you are buying gift cards which I don't do. I've gotten a decent amount of money back.
Other than that I use the store specific coupons.
