Check out the email address of the sender. It's a California phone #. No, I didn't take any action to be removed from future advertisements...too fishy.

I got one and I don't have a student loan!! It ranks right up there with the call I got from my grandson in trouble. I don't have a grandson. I just hate that some people will fall for this crap. With all that is out there warning people about scams makes one wonder why they fall for it. But not judging just wondering.

Was that an email? Looks like the email addresses I delete without reading. It was in my spam folder. It was a nice break from the nice English ladies whose husbands recently died and need me to help them transfer funds to the U.S. along with the various princes and princesses that regularly email, also requesting assistance with transferring funds. Those are at least more obvious. I hate to think how many not-computer-savvy folx are out there, who owe student loans from the last century, who might fall prey to this.
