Is Wisonsin one of the states to make it not a crime to drive into a crowd blocking a street? I believe I read where several states or cities had put such a law on the books - so that when someone drove their vehicle into a crowd of protesters - the driver wouldn't be guilty of crime - because the people were blocking the path of the vehicle and were at fault.

www.msn.com/en-us/news/crime/gofundme-pulls-page-aimed-at-raising-5-million-bail-for-waukesha-christmas-parade-suspect/ar-AAR8oR8?ocid=msedgntpGoFundMe page aimed at raising $5 million bail for the Wisconsin man accused of plowing his SUV through a Christmas parade in Waukesha has been pulled from the platform.
According to screengrabs first shared by Law Enforcement Today, the bail also spawned a fundraising effort on Brooks’ behalf. Set up by a person going by the name James Norton, the page insisted Brooks was a victim of a “racist” justice system and used hashtags including #RacismIsReal and #BLM.
“On November 21st, 2021 our dear friend Darrell Brooks was arrested for allegedly driving his car into a parade, as someone who knows Darrell personally I can tell you that he would NEVER do such a thing and I know he is innocent of what he was charged with,” Norton wrote, per the screengrabs.

www.msn.com/en-us/news/crime/legal-experts-see-case-for-intent-in-waukesha-parade-crash/ar-AAR60Wc?ocid=msedgntpThe man accused of plowing his SUV into a parade of Christmas marchers could have turned down a side street but didn’t. Once he passed it, he never touched the brakes — barreling through and leaving bodies in his wake, according to a criminal complaint.
No motive has been given for Darrell Brooks Jr., the suspect in the suburban Milwaukee crash Sunday that killed six people and injured more than 60 others, but it may not matter if he goes to trial. Legal experts say the evidence strongly supports intentional homicide charges that would mean life in prison.
Former Waukesha County District Attorney Paul Bucher said it might be difficult to prove intent with the first person Brooks struck, “but when he kept going and knowing what he had done to the first person and didn’t stop, then it was all intentional.”
Brooks is accused of refusing to stop even as an officer banged on the hood of his SUV. Another officer fired three shots into the vehicle, but it did not stop.
Brooks hasn't spoken publicly and it's not known what, if anything, he told investigators.

Gofundme also pulled fund raisers for Kyle Rittenhouse but were reinstated once he was found innocent by a jury.
