International shipping is a freaking disaster right now. Domestic transportation of goods isn't peachy either. It is a daily topic of stress for my company.

If there are two departments I am glad I dont work in right now, it is transportation and procurement.

If there are two departments I am glad I dont work in right now, it is transportation and procurement. Procurement is also part of our problem. They continue to nag and bitch about shipment costs and service…. Because you know, there’s no pandemic or container/flight/driver shortage whatsoever….🙄 I also think people should know that the increase in e-commerce shipments (I.e., all the online ordering people do) is a big reason why the network is so bogged down.
