FUCK! ugh. that's the only company that has reliable signal in the trees where I am now. as far as the list overall, nobody should really be surprised that corporations talk out of both sides of the mouths they have now that they are people.

Yeah, this is just one of many. Comcast is rolled up into that, too, and if I want to continue to WFH, them I'm stuck. I will avoid business with the ones I can, though. Speaking of, I still need to sell my Exxon stock.

that's pretty much where I'm at. I can thankfully avoid comCRAP now that I'm off Cape, not that I knew they were on that list. they just suck in general. they were also the only option other than DSL. I think if I can make choices wherever possible to avoid businesses that (not who that I had originally typed..whatever Citizens United thinks....🖕) support policies I abhor, then I'm being a responsible consumer.

I agree. I absolutely detest comcrap, but monopolies must monopolise.

Walmart, Coca-cola and UPS (I couldn't read farther): I'm in Ga....We don't drink Coke. There aren't a lot of choices here for groceries, but we are buying less & less from Walmart. And I ship all my packages by USPS! I can't control how I receive things I order or I'd have it all come FedX or USPS. ETA...And I just spent $47+ shipping some things yesterday at the PO!

Oh dear! I’ve been with ATT for cell phone service for forever. I’ve had Comcast for forever. And Exxon is the only gas I’ve used in my cars for forever. In each case, “forever” is at least 20 years.
The only thing in my favor is I don’t shop at WalMart. I did occasionally when I was broke, broke, broke about 15 years ago, but I was not impressed. The lines were always long, I didn’t like the meat or produce (I really hated their ground beef, it didn’t crumble like other ground beef, it still looked like worms to me when I cooked it) household goods were only a few pennies cheaper than Target, which I prefer.
UGH!

I can’t say I’m surprised by this. If you are operating in an industry where your business depends on legislation, making sure all the politicians are beholden to you is necessary.
