And has a passport. Which, unfortunately, is not me, DAMN IT!!!! I wanted to go!!! I'm with everyone else. She knew what she had to do, didn't do it and needs to pretend she's an adult and deal with the consequences. DO NOT TAKE HER!!!! So she said if she gets the vaccination and has a blood clot, it will be on me. I told her that I accept that risk. That risk is lower if she gets covid. My other alternative is that we have not paid anything other than the deposit for her room and board. We have 24 hours to cancel. We can tell her that even though her flight is a sunk cost, her room is on her. It will kill her to know that she has a business class airfare and needs to pony up twice that to stay where we are at. TD is at the dentist, so he knows nothing about this yet. Tell her you won’t put the rest of the plane at risk of catching something from her potentially virally nose. I would 100 percent eat the cost of the ticket and go without her. As I’ve gotten from older my ability to humor thoughtless people has shrunk to nearly nil, which is why I’m barely on speaking terms with my own self centered, narcissistic sister.

If your child would end up homeless, wouldn’t you do whatever was necessary to prevent that? Even if it was something you didn’t want to do? We have all been faced with less than desirable choices. No different here. She needs to put aside her issues and do what is right by her son Mental illness aside (along with not doing what is best for the child at all costs) she is likely convinced that the vaccine will kill her and harm her child (from that vaccine shedding that is happening). She thinks she IS doing the best thing for her kid, because she is avoiding the poison, mind control, micro chip, dangerous, deadly vaccine. There is a group of people who insist the CDC website has proof that the number of people who have died from the vaccine is greater than the number of people who died from covid. They probably did not notice it was cdc.ru or something like that. This pretty much sums it up.

The Walk of the Penguin Mich, I would eat whatever costs there are and go without her. For what reasons were you requiring all in your party to be vaccinated? Those reasons still exist. Unvaccinated people still pose a danger to others as well as themselves. She can get the J&J.

A significant part of our country is in the grips of a public mental health crisis. We are not equipped to manage this, either.

I clicked on a link with Fox news allegedly about Arnold, but ended up being three Fox news hosts complaining. The female host was all in on mask weirdness. She was complaining that studies about mask usage hadn't been done and why hadn't they been done? What were they hiding? Maybe its the people you listen to that are hiding things. Like they have no rea info but they know some people are gullible and scared and will believe things like masks cause serious issues simply because they want to. I wonder if we will ever see mask regret stories regarding kids. More are going to the hospital with Delta and I think more percentage-wise are also dying.

I don't know how current this is, but I found this article. www.healthline.com/health/adult-vaccines/moderna-vaccine#blood-clot-riskThe AstraZeneca vaccine isn’t approved for use in the United States. Blood clots have occurred in about 5 people for every 1 million people who received the AstraZeneca vaccine.
The rate of general blood clots in those with COVID-19 is 39 people per 1 million.

If we weren't under pandemic conditions, would she normally be interested in this trip?

My dad is also fighting blood clots from the virus, which he caught before the vaccine was available.

My niece was recently in the hospital due to a clot in her leg due to having Covid last fall. She’s a teacher in Texas. Go Texas?

Y’all are saying what I already know. I think mostly I needed to vent my frustration. Feel free to vent anytime. The kid sounds like my SIL, who also sounds like Mich's sister. A cruise to Alaska on the line, and she is bragging about buying a fake vaccination card in order to go. And her son had COVID. And she is morbidly obese, smokes, and is overall poor health. Yup, she's just a walking bundle of good news.

What does she do for a living? Bartender How long has she worked as a bartender? Do you know how long she's worked for her current employer? I'm asking because I am weirdly optimistic that she will not lose her job, but want to know something about how often she changes jobs before going out on that limb.

If it can be proven beyond a doubt and the infected person dies, the strongest charge I can see would be involuntary manslaughter. Because the virus is everywhere, so many are hospitalized and because so many just won't vaccinate, it would be tough to prove the sister was responsible.

Think some of these people will get vaccinated now? I doubt it. Waiting for approval was just an excuse. They'll come up with some other lame reason. JMHO.
