trump could/can dish it out but tried to sic the government on those who handed it back to him. Trump Reportedly Directed the Justice Department to Go After SNL for Making Fun of Him
A new report reveals former President Donald Trump tried to mobilize the Justice Department and other parts of the government against Saturday Night Live and other late-night comedy shows to stop them from satirizing him. Trump made his disdain for SNL abundantly clear during his presidency, blasting their ridicule for him on numerous occasions. Having frequently complained about these “total Republican hit jobs” and calling them “very unfair” when he still had his Twitter account, the former president suggested more than once that the Federal Election Commission or the Federal Communications Commission should go after SNL because of their “one sided media coverage.” The Daily Beast reports that there was a time in March of 2019 when Trump was watching an SNL rerun, and the former president got incensed to the point where he consulted his administration officials to find out what actions the government could take against his comic detractors. “According to two people familiar with the matter,” the Beast reports, “Trump had asked advisers and lawyers in early 2019 about what the Federal Communications Commission, the courts systems, and — most confusingly to some Trump lieutenants — the Department of Justice could do to probe or mitigate SNL, Jimmy Kimmel, and other late-night comedy mischief-makers.” As the report notes, satire is protect speech under the First Amendment, and shows like SNL and late-night comedy are not bound to “equal time” rules like Trump frequently claimed they were. To this point, one of the Beast’s sources said Trump’s efforts were “more annoying than alarming to be honest with you,” and another source said Trump was told that the Justice Department doesn’t handle matters like these. I'll read it later. Wasn't this already known? He went after most comedy and evening shows hosted by comics or non fawning FOX types. Colbert used to proudly put it on air when he got his latest complaint from the President. Didn't some lesser known folks basically do a reverse Sally Field?
He, hates me, he really hates me. So glad I wasn't left out. (I'm not on the dark side. Phew... wipe hand over forehead)

It’s funny, I have two narcissistic relatives and I sometimes see their behavior mirrored by the former president. We have to walk on eggshells around my relatives because they have such thin skins that even an imagined slight results in at best months of the cold shoulder, at worst a fiery apocalyptic meltdown followed by months of the cold shoulder. On the other hand, my relatives are highly critical of the rest of us, telling us we should not be angry at them for simply telling the truth, and the if they are mean to someone and that offends that person, that person is simply being petty and childish.
With my relatives it’s amusing, viewed from a safe distance, but with a former President still attempting to force allegiance from his party, it stops being funny and becomes dangerous.

Imagine if you will having to deal with people like the above every day you work. If they whine too much you get talked to or written up without your boss's boss even caring whether what you share is true, what the client shared to her personal back channels or somewhere in between. I read NAR a lot as protection and other people's war stories. These people delight in trying to get people fired or successfully getting them written up.

In more snow flake news, Trump is jealous that Kushner got a seven figure book advance when Trump hasn’t landed a deal at all, for any money. He’s also afraid Kushner will take credit for all the fabulous things Trump single handedly got done on his own.
Big baby.
Guess we know, if someone has to take the fall for any criminal acts during Trumps term, whose head goes on the chopping block first.

What does he have to say that would fill 7 books?
