So this article this morning. The article does not mention what the alternative to men not carrying a wallet when the are out of the house on a regular basis. Any idea what the alternative is? Charles Barkley loses wallet in Chipotle, thanks fan who returned it, gets roasted for still using wallet
The shoutout was cut a little short by the "NBA on TNT" crew immediately roasting Barkley for still carrying a wallet, much to Chuck's confusion. (And everyone else, really.) Wallets or no wallets, it's cool that Pyles didn't just take the wallet and run. Chipotle thinks so, too, who is currently searching for the real Matt Pyles to offer him a sweet reward — a year's worth of that delicious burrito goodness. Link to story here: link

I guess maybe unless you think you will need ID, your phone can fill a lot of gaps. How unfair is it that men's clothing always has plenty of pocket space, and it is a major chore to find women's clothing with pockets that can hold more than a tube of Chapstick? And now men aren't carrying wallets?

I know a few with wallet phone cases or they have a money clip with ID, maybe some cash and the frequently used credit/debit cards.

I still carry a wallet (more of a credit card holder with a small pocket for cash); have since college.
I could probably find a phone case that would do the same but I use my phone enough that I like the case to be as minimal as possible. I do keep a twenty stored between the phone and the case "just in case".

I don't carry a wallet or purse, unless I'm dressing up. so, since last March, that means never. 🤷♀️. license, AAA card, CC, and a debit card for the account that never has more than $300 in it - these all go in my phone case. I made this switch when I started taking public transportation to work, and I doubt I'll ever go back to carrying a full wallet.

I've become paranoid since Covid and sanitizing things so my keys are in my pockets. Because my keychain died that my Mom gave me my house keys and car key are on separate "chains". I do carry a purse. I prefer a satchel because of my back and Chiro recommendations. I do not yet have a working smart phone and have had no cellphone for about two years.

I just use this most of the time when I go in restaurants or stores. www.bandolierstyle.com/collections/all/products/hailey-folio-pebble-leather-crossbody-bandolier-black-gold#&gid=0&pid=12(I wanted this, but I already had the one below, so I bought it on e-bay. I think I paid $38 without the strap, I had an extra one so no biggie). www.bandolierstyle.com/collections/new-arrivalsI have this in black. with both the larger pouch and the thinner one, and I use earpods too, so I have the small pouch for my ear pods. I carry a bunch of extra stuff in a mini-backpack that frequently stays in my car, wallet, extra credit cards, comb, meds etc. I never take the larger bag in restaurants or stores. The small pocket on the Haiey holds about 5 cards Today I have DL, 3 credit cards, Insurance Card and 2 business cards from my nail salon that are like coupons. When I use the folio one I usually have between 20-40 in cash also. Today I have the one that has the small pouch attached, that has cash, my shopping list, some receipts, a comb, extra ccs. really everything I might need. LOL. For their Memorial Day Sale I impulse bought this: I have not used it yet. www.bandolierstyle.com/collections/all/products/the-leah-bandolier-bag-red-gold (I paid $129 on Memorial Day sale - I think they only do the sale once a year). This color is discontinued - probably seasonal. I looked at it on Friday night, and did not decide to buy it until Saturday or Sunday, so I was not able to get the matching ear pods pouch. I figured I would just carry them in the larger bag. If you buy make sure you have a glass screen saver on your phone. That is why I decided I wanted the folio style - I use it when I walk my dogs. ETA: I meant to say I use Apple Pay whenever I can. Some restaurants take it, a lot of stores, and many gas stations. My DD used Apple Pay way more than I do, and I think she was kind of shocked to find out I use it. I started using it b/c they say it is safer than using a regular CC at the Gas station. If you are not wearing a mask, it is very convenient. You can save your Airline Boarding Passes, Many Coupons, Debit cards, Credit cards etc. I know there is a similar product for Android Phones - My Son uses that one for his Samsung Galaxy Phone.

My 18 year old son has carried a wallet for years, so I don't think it's totally going out of style. He has his debit and credit card, license, insurance cards and maybe a little cash in it. I carry a fairly small purse with a billfold, my keys, prescription, and a few odds and ends.

My current purse has room for a large phone, but someday I might shop for one of these below. (Hopefully on sale) I actually like the ones that do not look like they hold phones, as I feel, possibly incorrectly they would be less likely to be stolen. I like butterflies so I like the pricey one on the bottom. www.brighton.com/content/6905/phone-organizers.html

I want to put my keys on carabiners. Which ones do you use? Before my housekey chain died, I had a duo thing going where the car keys could hook onto the chain or off. Both my original BMW keys are dead. I have more than two, only one is on a stretchy cord.
I like your case but I need shop something for an Apple Iphone 11.

I carry a wallet, but I could get away without one if I was forced to. I probably just need credit card, DL, health ins. card, and emergency $20.

Each key gets a small ring as do the little smart cards. My husband and I often change cars, so it makes it easy to take on/off carabiner. When I walk the dogs I often have only the carabiner and house key. When I go to lunch I take carabiner/car key/house key. I have a second carabiner with smart cards/office key/gym locker key in a backpack I frequently leave at my desk. I hook the carabiner on my purse strap, makes keys easy to find. I also hook them to a belt loop sometimes.

I still carry a purse. Mostly because asthma inhalers are big and not comfy in pockets that usually aren't that big in women's clothes. I bought this to take the place of my previous slim wallet that wasn't quite working as well for me anymore. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07MD7HCLZ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I'm debating getting one of those popsocket wallets or something similar, but I like having my phone being thin and being able to wirelessly charge (which you can with the popsocket - but you have to take the wallet part off which means there's a chance I can forget it). But I haven't made a decisions because it's not like I can get rid of my purse in all situations - see asthma inhaler. Also sometimes hearing my keys change makes me twitch so that's not always an option.

Inhaler and epi pen don't fit nicely in pockets. I will do some places with just a wristlet but usually I have a purse with me.
I know me if I had a phone wallet, I would 100% get to the doctor's office with no insurance card, etc.

If I was still regularly doing raft trips I would already have some. No close stores like outdoor stores that sell them, and I haven't wanted to buy some 5 pack online sight unseen.

I would lose and forget things all the time if I carried them in my pockets. I use a small crossbody purse, though not tiny. I can stick a water bottle in there in a pinch (and I have).
As far as men and wallets, I had bf who fucked up his back my sitting on his wallet in his backpocket, and my DH's back was going the same way until I talked him into switching to a thin cardholder/money holder.

I have a small purse that has a holder for the phone in the front. No more than it goes anywhere, it will last for years.

DH carries a small wallet that he carries in his front pocket. I am sure a chiropractor told him years ago not to sit on it.
I like to carry a small cross body purse. I am fond of the Baggallini purses. They work well for travel and carrying passports on your person.

I've used the above key chain for years (easily a decade) and love it. I use it to quickly separate my work/home keys. While it appears to no longer be in stock, they do have a different style that allows for more key groups.

My keys are on a carabiner with the frequently used mini reward cards as well as gym cards. They hook onto my belt loop or my bra strap. I have a slide card holder on the back of my iphone that will hold a cc, dl, money bills. I haven't been using the new one as much as I did the one on my old phone. I have a small messenger bag that holds my phone and a calling card folder that has several cc and other cards.
I still kick myself when my friend told me she could get the Baggalini cell phone purse at a reduced price. At that time, I was wearing a bike belt with my phone, calling card wallet and water. I decided that looked dorky and went to the mini messenger bag from dollar tree.
My H. has a stick on card holder on the back of his phone below the magnets he uses in the car holder. I remind him to make sure it's still stuck because our GSIL lost his. No one returned it.

While I am thinking these won't exactly work with my current car keys, I do have separate keys for my place basement storage, etc. I could easily use three out of a set of 5 and the house key chain that kind of lasted a year. Do you have one of those key docks? Did you mount your somewhere?

If I had more keys to keep track of I wouldn't hesitate to try the multi-key option. The product has held up amazing well over the years. I think it says on the site you can use anywhere from two to five of the adapter things, so you may be able to use just three if that's what you needed.
